Berry update:

Blueberry season was a bust (even though we had more blossoms than ever!)

Raspberry season was the best we ever had, but short!

Blackberry season we have NEVER had so many! We will definitely be selling blackberry jam in the fall! But right now we can barely keep up with the garden and pickles!

We have had fun the last few weeks, watching the bats dart around our yard at dusk eating bugs.

Did you know that bats eat their body weight in bugs every night? They eat beetles, ants, moths, roaches, gnats AND their favorite is mosquitoes!
