2019+ Chevy Silverado and GMC sierra under seat enclosure. Ported and tuned for two Sundown Audio U series 8’s on a Soundqubed 3000 watt amplifier (F1-3000)! This enclosure, received a plexiglass window on the side with a 2D laser etching and a 2D font piece with black plexiglass trim. This ported enclosure fits underneath the backseat of the crew cab with no seat lift. This installation will also be receiving PRV loudspeakers, DSP 4 channel and a Limitless Lithium No-li 12ah battery for some extra juice! This 2024 Silverado 2500 HD is going to sound great when I’m down with it!

Almost done with the JL audio 12w7 enclosure for the Nissan GTR! This 13 layer Baltic birch enclosure has the biggest plexiglass window I could fit! The front window as well as the speaker wire terminal have 3D engravings. The RGB LEDs have a quick disconnect in the acrylic terminal for the power. We provide the outside connector so that you just have to hook up positive and negative. This one also received a black carpet job!

This is part two of my first “long” video on social media. I usually only show the finished product but here is a behind the scenes look of our small car audio shop! I plan to make more content like this going forward!

JL Audio 10W7-AE 10” subwoofer with a
Fs (resonant frequency) of 30.6 hertz!
This enclosure was 1.5 cubic feet net
Tuned at 30 hertz with a slot port
I did this back in 2021 for a 2021 Jeep Wrangler 2 door!
The sub and the port were downfiring
And the plexiglass window had a
3D engraved JL Audio logo with white LEDs!

I have no idea what I’m doing. This is episode 001 of One Day at Sound Authority part 1/2. I may not be capable of showing everything that we do every day but I’m sure going to try. I want you guys to see that we are not a multimillion dollar company with a bunch of employees. It is literally just me and Pony in a two car garage. I’m so excited to show you guys the behind the scenes of our small car audio shop! We are located in Deland, Florida and we ship everything everywhere. From custom subwoofer enclosures to custom plexiglass to full audio systems with installation! If you would like to see more of this, comment!

A client asked me if I have ever done an Escalade. I took me forever to find this video so now I’m posting it again!
This was a Sundown Audio Uv2 15” sub in a Cadillac Escalade I did last year. The entire front of the enclosure is made of clear acrylic and is 3-D engraved with chasing RGB LEDs. We gave it 3.0 ft.³ net tuned at 35 hertz as requested by the customer!

8 years ago I made a ported birch enclosure for two JL Audio 13W7AE-D1.5 subwoofers! The slot port is tuned at a peak frequency of 32 Hz and I used 76.45 in.² of port area. This makes for 14.2 in.² of port area per sub which worked fantastic for this application. This was so long ago I barely remember the customer, but they sure let me know that they loved it!

This might be my first MDF speaker box in 11 years!?

My editing skills are a bit rough, but I want to share clips from my first “long” video (6 minutes). My goal is to show you guys SOME of what we actually do from day-to-day, not just the finished product. Maybe more importantly, to show WHO we are. Over the years I’ve had many customers treat me like I’m a multimillion dollar company with dozens of employees. It’s literally just me and Pony in a two car garage, trying to make ends meet while growing the business. We are real people with complicated lives, just like you.
