Getting in early for Speedy Tuesday - BA 145.022-69 Apollo 11 in 18k gold, from the family of the original owner. This model was the first ever all-gold Speedmaster. OMEGA made this watch in a limited edition of 1,014 pieces. This watch is from the first series, numbered 062, with the oval O.

The Speedmaster is offered in excellent, all original condition.

1959 Speedmaster ref. 2998-1

The 2998-1 is one of the most important references in the Speedmaster story. It was the first Speedmaster with a black bezel. It is the second Omega Speedmaster reference with straight lugs. The 2998-1 is the most collectable of the 2998-x models as it was the first of its kind and set the bar for all manually wound Speedmasters. This example is in original condition and comes with a very rare “lollipop” chronograph hand. The Speedmaster CK2998-1 is the first reference of 8, and was introduced in 1959. This extremely rare reference was only been made until 1960. The CK2998 was also the first Omega in space, worn by astronaut Wally Schirra on the Sigma 7 flight in 1962. This rare example also has the original BASE 1000 DON (dot over ninety) bezel.
