Important HOCO info:

-I can still take a few more orders for this weekend‘s homecoming, but I am limited. I have a doctors appointment in Alexandria on Thursday at 2pm so that limits work time and I will be going out of town on Friday afternoon and that limits work time as well as day of pick-ups. So I will need to have every order done by Wednesday afternoon and every order picked up by noon on Friday. I’m not exactly sure what time I will be back from my appointment on Thursday, but I will make allowances for that and will be available for a late evening pick-ups on Thursday for anyone that needs to pick up Thursday evening. 

-For October 17th HOCO’s…..I have a wedding out of town that day so I will not be available for Saturday pick-ups. Everything will have to be picked up on Friday. I will also not be able to take last-minute orders for that date because I also have two other weddings for the 16th and 17th that I am doing florals for so my time will have to be managed very strategically so I don’t drop the ball on anything that I have going on. So if you are wanting to use me for October 17 homecoming/Rosepine and you haven’t reached out yet you need to get with me ASAP and get on my schedule that way I can plan my time accordingly. 

-For October 24th HOCO’s I also have a wedding on this day. I will be decorating for that wedding on Thursday and Friday so that will limit my work time as far as taking last-minute orders, I will not be able to, but it will free me up for a day of pick-ups as well as Friday evening pick ups. And again, I have a lot of pre-wedding work. I have to do for this wedding so if you are wanting on my schedule for homecoming for October 24, you need to get with me ASAP so I can plan my time accordingly.

I do not want to drop the ball on anyone. I can get it all done as long as I have enough advance notice. I am a planner, I have list, I check my list twice and then again a couple more times and I have a color code system for checking things off my list. I thrive on organized chaos 😂. BUT when I’m super busy like I am now I have to have structure to function so getting it all planned out ahead of time is a must. Hope you all understand. God has blessed and business has grown and wedding season and HOCO season have collided this year. And I’m here for it all!!!!

Few more highlights from this weekend’s HOCO orders. And I love it when I can build a corsage on a slap bracelet. I love it when people request those. Just FYI they are always an option with me and I get them in many different colors. They tend to fit better on girls with smaller wrist. They fit tighter and don’t slide around plus they are a lot of fun. My stuff is always made very well and doesn’t come apart, when I build it, I build it for life……even if I glue myself in the process with my really hot and how powered glue gun lol. So they can slap them on and have fun with them.

Also, I am still taking orders for East Beau and South Beau for next weekend.  I am leaving Friday afternoon to go out of town and plan to be finished with all orders by Thursday evening and will need all orders to be picked up by noon on Friday.

‼️‼️ if you pay me a deposit through any of my payment options for HOCO flowers please let me know through text or messenger that you paid it. I am for some reason, not getting notifications from any of my payment apps and I am really busy right now, too busy to constantly scroll through my apps and I don’t want to miss making sure someone is on my list. Especially if it’s a last-minute order.

And with that being said, I got completely finished for DeRidder and Merryville today so if there is anyone  who needs a last-minute floral order I can help you out. I can accept a few more orders. Just because I don’t want any girl to go without flowers for homecoming. Or a boy for that matter. And remember, always teach your girls she doesn’t need a boy to buy her flowers for a dance. She can get them for herself or Mom and Dad can get them for her. Every girl deserves flowers for a special occasion.

My beautiful niece Ashlynn got married Saturday and I had the honor of doing her flowers and decor. She got married in the most perfect old church in a place that’s really special to me. I have wanted to do a wedding there for years and finally got to do it. Her bouquet might be my favorite one I have ever made. It was the sweetest wedding even with extreme heat and crazy lovebugs.

I have more pics of my own of all the different details and things that I’ll add later but I wanted to share these on their own to give the photographer credit because they are just gorgeous.

Sneak peek of today’s wedding in the most beautiful 120 (at least) year old church. I have wanted to do a wedding in this old church building for so many years and I finally got to! If these walls could talk!!

Another day, another fall door. This one was for one of my favorite clients a.k.a. Momma Rose. She’s almost 79, still working everyday and still wants her door pretty for fall. I always love my time spent at her home.

Here is my updated Christmas schedule and as you can see, I am pretty full already.

I have 2 full days available in November
Tuesday 11/10
Wednesday 11/18

I have 2 half days available in November 
Thursday 11/5 AM
Thursday 11/12 AM

For December, I have December 7-11 all available. I really like to be done by the end of this week in the month of December that way I can enjoy the Christmas season myself.

If you are an early bird, like me….I kind of have to be if I want to get anything done at my house….I have October 27-30 open.

This can be just for a tree, a tree and a mantle, your whole house, just your front door/porch, a mix of a few things or all of the above. How much I am doing at one home determines if I can double book that day. And this doesn’t just have to be for your home, I decorate businesses as well.

I appreciate all of my loyal customers so much, I am excited to meet all of my new customers this year and I am thankful for each and every one of you. I love doing this, I love everything I get to do in this business, but the Christmas season and coming into all of your homes and businesses, that’s probably my favorite thing I do each year.
