This fuchsia unicorn damask all-purpose pad was made to coordinate with her Moriesian mare’s wonderfully bold pink and lime green tack set.

A slim line of lime piping pulls the two together perfectly, with black binding giving all that color just enough room to show off.

A little Celtic charm in a swallowtail silhouette. 🍀

So I looked at the humble all-purpose pad and thought, “But what if we made it fancy?” 🤔

I decided to rethink the traditional all-purpose pad and give this one a more tailored silhouette, finishing the back with a squared, hand-mitered corner rather than the usual rounded edge.

And there was actually a method to my madness—the mitered corner gives me so much more freedom to play with velvet, jacquard ribbons and other beautiful trims that simply don't want to lie nicely around a curve.

It also creates a beautiful frame for the fabric and opens up a whole new area for those little details that make a GEM pad a GEM pad.

And this enchanted woodland print seemed like the perfect one to try it on. Mossy greens, antique gold, velvet, twisted cord and warm brown leather come together with Celtic conchos for something that feels as though it wandered straight out of an ancient forest. 🌿

Definitely not your average all-purpose pad...but “average” has never really been GEM’s thing. 😉

Sometimes a fabric just seems to find exactly the horse it was meant for. ❤️🐴

With 2026 being the Year of the Horse - symbolizing strength, freedom, energy and forward movement - this fiery print already seemed pretty perfect.

But when the person who chose it told me her horse's name is Fuego…well, it's obvious this fabric had already chosen its destiny. 🔥

The rich burgundies, fiery reds, oranges and golds are finished with deep red trim and metallic gold jacquard ribbon, which gives the whole pad that extra bit of richness I love.

Through no fault of its own… another fabric has found itself available. 😂

This gorgeous fuchsia chenille upholstery fabric was supposed to arrive with a silver tulip-style design.

It did not.

Apparently, it had other plans. 😂 What was advertised as silver is actually a soft antique gold — which is absolutely beautiful with the rich fuchsia… just not what I ordered it for.

So rather than sentence it to an indefinite stay in the fabric stash, I'm offering it up for someone else's custom creation. 💗✨

And really… fuchsia and antique gold? This one is practically begging to become something gloriously dramatic.

Apparently, I did not search the fabric stash thoroughly enough. 😂Because look what just crawled out of the depths… TWO ...

Because look what just crawled out of the depths… TWO more pieces of dragonscale fabric. 🐉

So, in keeping with my very serious mission to MAKE ROOM (so I can obviously buy more fabric 🤦‍♀️), these two have now officially joined the “Please turn me into something fabulous” pile.

So apparently I have more fabric than I thought. Like…a LOT more. 😂

I decided to go digging through the GEM fabric stash and figured it was probably time to show you guys what’s actually hiding in there!

These are ALL IN-HOUSE & AVAILABLE NOW - just sitting around waiting for the right horse, the right idea, or someone to come along and say, “I NEED that one.”

Take a look and see if anything speaks to you. And if it does…well, we can probably turn it into something fabulous. Or dramatic. Or completely over the top. You know how I am. 😏

And really, you’d be doing me a favor. The more fabric I use, the more room I have to buy MORE fabric. Because apparently admitting you have a fabric addiction is only the first step…I have absolutely no intention of doing anything about it. 😂

Ravens and roses were already bringing plenty of dark romance, but this time I decided they needed just a little extra Gothic elegance. 🖤🌹

A touch of black and metallic gold jacquard ribbon paired with dimensional black roses gives the border just enough drama while letting that gorgeous print remain the star.

This gorgeous green dragon scale swallowtail pad was originally created for someone special, but fate apparently had other plans - and that means it is now AVAILABLE!

Rich emerald, teal and antiqued metallic tones give this one ALL the dragon vibes, finished with black trim and just enough gold detail to make those scales shine.

A little piece of Middle-earth brought to life. 🌿✨

This Lord of the Rings-inspired western pad was created to accompany a beautiful Royal Legacy bridle and breastplate set, pulling together the rich greens, warm earthy browns and antique brass details.

The Tree of Life fabric felt like the perfect heart of the design, while a Leaves of Lórien brooch - like those given by Lady Galadriel to the Fellowship - adds one small but very intentional piece of Middle-earth to the corner.

Some designs are meant to match. Others are meant to feel like they belong to the same story. 💚
