Creating flowers for a moment that will be remembered for a lifetime. 🤍

The bride envisioned an all-white bridal bouquet, and we brought that vision to life with a romantic mix of dahlias, scabiosa, and lisianthus.

From growing and harvesting these blooms to carefully placing each stem into her bouquet, this was such an incredible journey to be part of. There is something so special about knowing flowers grown right here in our Urban Garden will forever be part of someone’s wedding day. 🤍💍

And an extra special thank you to Littlefoot Flowers for partnering with us and sharing beautiful locally grown blooms to help bring this vision together. Local flower farmers supporting local flower farmers makes moments like this even more special. 🤍

Reminiscing on just how wonderful Lisianthus season was this August. 🌸

We grew our Lisianthus at the Community Garden this year, and they did not disappoint! From soft, romantic shades to rich, vibrant colors, watching these beauties bloom was one of our favorite parts of the season.

And we’re already dreaming about 2027… 👀

Today’s Labor Day haul 🥰🌱

Flowers may be my true love, but veggies were my FIRST LOVE 🍅🫑

Flowers are so much more than just something pretty in the garden. They attract pollinators and beneficial insects that help the entire garden thrive. 🐝🌸

This year, our vegetables have produced more abundantly than in the years I spent constantly monitoring and stressing over pest and disease damage. And for the first time, beetles haven’t destroyed my cucumbers! 🥒 Usually, they’re decimated within a month.

Turns out, growing more flowers may have been one of the best things I could do for my veggie garden. 💚

We are SO excited to be back at the Valley Junction Farmers Market this week! 💐 The flowers definitely did not slow down while we were away — the garden has been BUSY. 🌸

Today I excitedly discovered that some of my volunteer celosia produced the most stunning colors AND came up in a beautiful cockscomb shape instead of the plumes I was expecting! 💛🧡🩷

I’ve been lucky enough to get volunteer celosia each year, but this year I decided to dig them up and replant them into empty beds and spots where some of my dahlias didn’t sprout. And I am SO happy I did. These colors are absolutely beautiful, and you better believe I’ll be saving seed! 🌱

I can’t wait for y’all to see these beauties at the market this Thursday! 💐

No market for us today! 🌸 We’re taking some time to celebrate some exciting life moments. 🤍

We’ll be back next Thursday, September 3rd, with SO many pretty blooms—including our gorgeous dahlias! 🌺

It’s not National Dog Day—it’s National Four-Legged Furry Children Day in our house. 🐾🤍

Our little family simply wouldn’t be complete without our three children: Loki, Luna, and Latte. 🐶🐶🐶

The days can be exhausting, especially after a long day, but coming home to them is always a reminder that their unconditional love truly has no limit. They remind us to slow down, soak up the little moments, and enjoy every bit of the time we’re lucky enough to have with them.

So in celebration of National Four-Legged Furry Children Day, give your kiddos a little extra love today. 🤍

Remember—you are their entire world, and while they’re only here for a portion of our lives, we are there for all of theirs. 🐾
