Picked up some frames for a few prints and I absolutely love them. The lions are by far my favorite in that frame. Do we like the matted picture like the tiger or the simple framed lions more??

Spent my lunch break working on something new and enjoying my soup while pretending it wasn’t as hot as the surface of the sun outside on September first. I’m ready for cozy weather already. Anyone else over this heat?

Did you know that giraffes have the same number of neck bones as humans do? Which is seven. The same number of vertebrae in a mouse’s neck and a blue whales in fact. It is the size of each vertebrae that differs between species.

You don’t have to travel half way across the world to see a giraffe your self, just head on over to the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines, IA.

While Jakobi was the inspiration for my current artwork, I can’t wait for the newest giraffe addition to be out on exhibit.

I do love when artwork can take multiple forms. I designed the original otter art digitally then transferred the line work to canvas and painted it with acrylics!

Making my own bookmarks has been so handy and such a fun thing to whip up, especially for quick gifts!
