Dobbs Ferry is excited to participate in the first-ever Rivertown Pumpkin Trail, a regional public art exhibition celebrating creativity, community, and the beauty of autumn in the lower Hudson Valley. Artists are invited to transform large decorative pumpkins into one-of-a-kind works of art that will be displayed throughout participating Rivertown villages during the fall season. Each pumpkin becomes part of a walkable outdoor gallery enjoyed by thousands of residents and visitors. Following the exhibition, pumpkins will be auctioned to support future public art initiatives while providing participating artists with a share of the proceeds.

We encourage artists from Dobbs Ferry and the surrounding Rivertowns to apply. The deadline to submit your application is now August 7th.

DrySpace Beverage is opening at 37 Cedar Street, bringing non-alcoholic beer, wine, spirits, ready-to-drink options, adaptogens, and in-store tastings to the Rivertowns.

Created by Matt and Molly Ferguson, DrySpace is designed to be more than a bottle shop, with game nights, zine nights, local art shows, educational tastings, and other ways to gather without alcohol at the center.

A perfect Sunday in Dobbs Ferry:

Take Metro-North to the waterfront, browse for treasures at , let the kids burn off some energy at the playground, and soak in some of the best Hudson River views around.

When you’re ready for lunch, hop on the free shuttle up to Main Street. Wander the shops, grab a sandwich (or whatever sounds good), then decide: linger in town or bring your lunch back down to the waterfront for a picnic by the river.

Easy, low-key, and exactly the kind of day that reminds you why people love this little river town.
