🍂 Embroidery of the Month is Back! 🧵

We’re so excited to kick off a brand-new season of stitching together! After a little break, Embroidery of the Month is ready to restart, and we can’t wait to gather around the table with all of you.

Here’s a little sneak peek at our September project—a beautiful floral design stitched on a distressed hat. It’s the perfect project to welcome fall and practice a variety of embroidery stitches while creating something you’ll love to wear.

🎄 Something magical is coming to Douglas… 🎄

Applications are officially OPEN for Holly Days & Twine, a curated handmade holiday market presented by Poppy and June Makery & Co.

This isn’t just another vendor event.

Our vision is to create a warm, beautiful holiday shopping experience where families can slow down, discover incredible handmade gifts, meet talented makers, and kick off the Christmas season surrounded by creativity and tradition.

We’re looking for passionate makers who pour their hearts into what they create.

Event Details

📅 Friday & Saturday, November 6–7, 2026

📍 Wyoming State Fairgrounds Ag Hall
Douglas, Wyoming

Accepted vendors will receive:

• 12’ × 12’ indoor booth space
• Electricity included
• Two full days of holiday shopping
• Event-wide marketing and promotion

Because we want to create a truly curated shopping experience, only 34 vendor spaces are available.

This is a handmade-only market. We are unable to accept direct sales (MLM), wholesale resale, or mass-produced finished products.

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be selected based on craftsmanship, originality, presentation, product-category balance, and overall fit for the market.

Accepted vendors will receive a Square invoice directly from Poppy and June Makery & Co. Co-owners Terri Sherman and Anna McClure are the only authorized individuals to collect vendor payments or provide payment instructions. Please do not send payment to anyone else claiming to represent this event.

This Week at the Makery

We have a fun week ahead filled with creating, connecting, and a little behind-the-scenes magic!

Tuesday we are under construction as we continue making the Makery a place where creativity can happen and everyone feels welcome.

Wednesday the shop is open 10:00 AM–5:30 PM and we have a special private party from 1:00–3:00 PM.

Thursday is Open Studio Day! Bring a project, come create, or just enjoy some time around the table. We’ll be open 10:00 AM–5:30 PM. ✂️🧵

Friday starts with our Friday Morning Coffee Chat from 9:30–10:00 AM ☕ followed by shop hours 10:00 AM–5:30 PM.

Saturday we are open 10:00 AM–3:00 PM — stop in, browse, create, or visit with us!

Big things are coming… ✨

Yesterday wasn’t about creating with our hands—it was about creating what’s next.

Calendars are open, planners are full, coffee is flowing, and we’re mapping out the rest of the year at Poppy and
June Makery & Co. From new classes and creative experiences to special events and a few surprises we can’t wait to share, we’re dreaming big and planning every detail with you in mind.

We truly believe the best is still ahead, and we can’t wait to fill your calendars with opportunities to slow down, create, and connect.

Before we paint the Makery walls on Sunday… we want YOU to leave your mark. ❤️

Friends, family, customers, makers, and our amazing community — stop by Poppy and June Makery & Co. and write a positive thought, word of encouragement, favorite quote, prayer, wish, or little bit of inspiration right on our walls.

Then on Sunday, we’ll paint over them — but we’ll know all those good words are still there underneath, becoming part of the foundation of this space. 🥹
