This is a fly I always have on hand when fishing creek smallmouth. 🎣

I use the Drop Craw as both a drop-shot and drifting pattern. It fishes great under an indicator, and it can also be retrieved or hopped on a drop-shot rig modified for the fly rod.

Versatile, effective, and it catches just about anything that eats craws. 🦞

More on this fly coming soon, including tying and fishing footage!

The Stop N Drop Bass Worm is my fly-tied take on a bass worm, designed to be fished drop-shot style. It’s tied on a light-wire hook and has a unique action that makes it a fun option for targeting largemouth bass in a variety of conditions.

If you like fishing finesse presentations for bass, this one is worth adding to the box.
