The Lenny Peters Foundation Reaches New Heights with First South American Home
The Lenny Peters Foundation is proud to celebrate the grand opening of its 14th Lenny Peters Home, this time in Manizales, Colombia. This marks our first location in South America, a historic milestone in our ongoing global mission to uplift and empower individuals with cognitive disabilities.
This new home continues the transformative work initiated by Bright Minds Foundation in 2020, which focuses on promoting the inclusion, dignity, and development of individuals with moderate cognitive disabilities.
For decades, the Lenny Peters Foundation has stood as a beacon of hope and compassion, providing comprehensive care, education, rehabilitation, and life skills training to vulnerable communities around the world. Our homes are more than safe havens—they are launchpads for opportunity, self-confidence, and independence.
In Manizales, we continue this mission by offering vital resources, personalized support, and hands-on training for individuals and their families, caregivers, and foster mothers. We believe that true inclusion is achieved when every individual has a chance to thrive—in the workforce, in society, and in life.
