So I am really bad at posting on my page, but have really been absent the last 3 months and this is why. My daughter bowls on her high school JV Team & in various other places, but this is where we have been the last 3-ish months, bowling and undefeated JV season and in Varsity level tournaments and kicking butt. Allow these girls have improved so much and this year they brought it all season. Could not be prouder of all of them, but especially my daughter who consistently brought home some individual high game medals, and placing 9th in JV States Individuals this past Sunday as a FRESHMAN!! She lost to the ultimately 2nd place finisher and was the ONLY FRESHMAN to make the cut to top 16.
Her goal is to get a bowling scholarship for college and if she keeps this up, I see no reason she shouldn't. Kept her grades up too finishing her 1st high school semester on Honor Roll with a 3.5 GPA.

One of my more popular items at craft/vendor shows are these 8 inch sublimated windspinners. They are very popular hanging outside windows at elderly homes or anywhere.

What is sublimation, you may ask. Well it is a process of heating a special pigmented dye ink to specific temperatures to turn it into a gas that can pe*****te some fabrics or other prepped materials to leave a chosen design in yhe fabric or on various surfaces. In this case, windspinners. Because of this process the images are almost 100% permanent in polyester materials or on ceramics and almost permanent, although some fading and scratching may occur under certain circumstances.

I have close to a million ready to go images to choose from or I can personalize with your image(s).

Rosetta Miller-Perry always had a dream to start her own newspaper in Nashville, Tennessee. But when she asked big banks for help, they all said no. She wanted a place where the voices in her community could be heard. So Mrs. Miller-Perry used $70,000 of her own money and opened The Tennessee Tribune in 1992. In an interview with WSMV 4 Nashville, she said, "We inform the community about the good things about African Americans… We don't write about crime. We only talk about positive things."

Mrs. Miller-Perry is a U.S. Navy Veteran, married, and a mother of three. She graduated from the University of Memphis in 1956 and continued her education at Tennessee State University and Meharry Medical College for nurse training. The same year she founded the Tennessee Tribune, she also created the Anthony J. Cebrun Journalism Center with support from Dell Computers. The center was designed to help young people learn writing, reporting, and storytelling.

In the 1960s, she worked closely with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, according to The Tennessean. Mrs. Miller-Perry received the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. Now in her 90s, she is still fighting for justice and uplifting her community.
