Over the past few weeks, our studio has been a little quieter than usual.

Behind the scenes, life brought unexpected challenges, including a car accident, personal grief, and moments that required us to slow down and regroup.

But one of the values our studio was founded on is this:

Light Overcomes Darkness.

That isn't just a slogan. It's a reminder that creativity, community, movement, and hope have the power to help us move forward—even after difficult seasons.

I tried but I can't...

Per doctor's orders for a back injury from the recent car accident Zumba has to be canceled for the rest of this month and will start back up in August 2026. I apologize to all my Zumberas... please keep me uplifted in prayer 💛🤍✨️

Due to lingering lower back pain following a car accident earlier this week, I have decided to close W. P. Creative Wellness Studio for Friday and Saturday to give my body the time it needs to recover. I am also taking time to quietly process the loss of someone dear to me.

As a result, all appointments and experiences, including Club Zumba on Saturday at 1:00 PM, have been canceled.

At W. P. Creative Wellness Studio, we often talk about stewardship, wellness, and honoring the life we're building. This weekend, I'm choosing to live that message by giving myself permission to rest and heal.

Thank you for your continued grace, patience, and support. I look forward to welcoming you back soon.

At W. P. Creative Wellness Studio, we believe creativity, wellness, and purpose should work together, not compete with one another.

Last night reminded me of an important truth.

You can be deeply committed to your vision without sacrificing yourself in the process.

As entrepreneurs and leaders, we often pour into everyone else while convincing ourselves that rest, recovery, and our own well-being can wait. But that isn't sustainable stewardship.

The same care we give to our businesses should also be given to our lives.

Our health matters.

Our peace matters.

Our presence matters.

The life we're building should never come at the expense of the life we've been given.

With that in mind, Wind Down Wednesday will not be held today. I'll be taking care of a few things following last night's car accident and choosing to steward both my business and myself well.
