Well hellooooo there! 👋😂

It's been a little quiet around here lately, but I promise Knott On Purpose did not disappear! There has been crocheting, custom orders, a little much-needed vacation time, and plenty of yarny chaos happening behind the scenes. 🧶❤️

And we're jumping right back in with Rock the Rocks at The Original Crabby Bill's in Indian Rocks Beach THIS SATURDAY! 🏖️🎶

I'll be there with handmade bags, accessories and plenty of K-O-P goodies from 12–7 PM while the music, food, drinks and market fun are happening all day and night till 10pm.

If you're near Indian Rocks Beach, come say hi! I would LOVE to see some familiar faces. ❤️

🏰🧶 Disney Countdown: 6 DAYS!

Okay friends, I gave myself a slightly ridiculous challenge… 😂

If you remember, I had decided I wanted to see if I could pay for our Disney resort entirely with money I earned from Knott On Purpose.

I started with a balance of around $720 and thanks to markets, Etsy orders, custom projects, and some seriously wonderful people supporting my little business…

WE'RE DOWN TO $219.69! 😭🙌

And we leave for Disney in 6 DAYS! 🏰✨

So if you've been eyeing something in my Etsy shop, now would be a VERY good time to enable my Disney problem. 😂 Every order between now and then is helping me see just how close I can get to paying off that last $219.69 with crochet!

And seriously — whether you've purchased something, shared a post, stopped by my booth, or simply cheered me on, THANK YOU. Watching something I make with my own two hands turn into memories with my family is pretty darn cool. ❤️🧶

One thing I've been learning lately...

The yarn you choose really does matter.

Not because expensive automatically means better.

But because different fibers create completely different feelings.

Lately I've been experimenting more, paying attention to texture, drape, and colors that feel timeless.

I'm slowly figuring out what "Knott On Purpose" looks like...

Not that long ago, Tom and I went out for dinner.

We hadn't been to Steak 'n Shake in forever...

Apparently long enough that we didn't realize there aren't servers anymore! 😂

He had me sit down while he grabbed everything and brought it to the table for me.

Then we finished with shakes. ❤️

One thing I've learned about markets is that Christmas has a funny way of sneaking up on handmade businesses.

So every now and then I stop what I'm doing and make a cozy piece for Future Me.

Future Me is always very thankful. ❤️
