Been working like a mad woman on some of my newest plushies 🥰 I love a full booth with lots of variety, so I took some time away from the market to finish these cuties💕

This week I will be focusing on flowers💐 and hanging plants 🪴 It may not seem like a lot of new items but trust me it is!

Thank you Jesus for weekends at home with my beautiful family, precious puppies and of course my good ol hook and a bunch of yarn 🧶

A prime example of why my pieces are priced the way they are…

Today I decided I was going to make something start to finish in one day. This is something I’ve made before so I thought I’d get it done a little faster than the first time. I began this project at 9 this morning and completed it at 3:45 with maybe 3 or 4, 5 minute breaks in between. This pretty bow turtle took approximately 6 1/2 hours to make 😅
My hands and eyes are tired but it was a fun experiment. For the most part those who purchase my work don’t bat an eye at my prices but every once in a while I will get a scoff and stomp off 🙄 Which usually causes me to doubt my work and rethink my pricing. But today was a perfect example why you will see $30-$50 price tags on many of my items. Every single stitch is made by my own two hands and a hook 🪝
Not to mention supplies and the dreadful sewing process 😩

Since falling in love with crocheting I have learned to appreciate handmade items. The amount of time, work and love that goes into turning yarn into a beautiful squishy something is the difference between buying something from Target or buying something that was made by hand. Painful and also getting crooked hands I might add 🥹
But I love every minute of it 💕

I came up a little in the world 😍 My new canopy and table runner makes my entire display 10x better. I can’t tell you how wonderful it feels to have an amazing husband who supports my crazy crochet dreams. Every Saturday morning at 5am he gets up to help me, then we sit for hours at the farmers market. We don’t get as much time as we’d like throughout the week but Saturdays we’re together and that’s everything💕
