My life story is unusual because I live in a nursing home & rehabilitation center, even though I am just now 60. I have Multiple Sclerosis, and my disease has caused my beloved husband of 37 years, much to his anguish put me in the home because I require so much medical attention that he isn't trained to give. I am fortunate because I vetted out 5 of these facilities before finding the right one: clean, happy residents, and with a good administration running it. Fortunately, I am happy here, with many of the residents and friends who have "adopted" me. Plus, the caregivers all enjoy me as a friend, too.
