IT’S FISH’N TIME!!!
That’s right, the 2025 fishing season has begun! So excited! Eagle Nest Outfitters is taking reservations so get your fish’n on! Afternoon All! Eagle Nest lake is still fishing well! We wait on bated breath for the lake turn over which is showing sign of its coming! Weather has been beautiful and still cold in the morning hopefully staving off a big bloom! Thunderstorms in the afternoon leading to beautiful sunsets! Photo dump of the last few weeks! The bite is on! Team Oklahoma Pan handle took several nice trout, Ft. worth area hooked some nice fish including a small Northern! Wichita filled the bait well with some very healthy rainbows! The week has started out well with several species being taken. Trout continues to be the hot ticket. Some Salmon are being caught, Perch have been spotty and the Pike are starting to chase lures. Several states represented in these pictures. My hats off to all them for hooking, reeling and best of all landing them on the deck! Well done! Fishing has been good at Eagle Nest Lake! Fish up to 4 lbs being taken! Weather has been cooperating (for the most part, it’s 60 degrees and raining right now). So proud of these folks, from all over landing some beautiful fish! Like I tell people, 3 steps to fishing, hooking the fish, getting the fish to the boat and landing the fish on the deck! Trolling and still fishing brought some nice fish to the boat including the 22.5” lunker that hit the platt river fly on the troll! Eagle Nest Outfitters, making memories one cast at a time!
