I needed a storage box to hold fish food for our outdoor koi pond. I made this box from items I already had at home. All you need for this project is a box, some jute rope, dollar tree wallpaper sheets and a glue gun. 😀

Hey everyone! Welcome to my page.

I decided it was finally time to share what I’ve been creating over the past few years. Apparently, I’m a crafter now… LOL! I absolutely LOVE making things to share with the people I care about.

I was introduced to the world of crafting by a dear friend of mine, Terry Gardiner, back in the early 2000s. She taught me how to scrapbook, among many other things, and ever since then, I’ve loved creating beautiful and meaningful items to share with others.

I think we all need an outlet from the craziness of the world. Life is full of work, family obligations, and endless to-do lists. With all the busyness and demands of everyday life, the hobbies that bring us peace and joy often get pushed to the back burner. I’ve been trying to make more time for my creative passions lately, and prioritizing my creations has been wonderful for my mental well-being.

People are always telling me I should sell the things I make — and I have — but that has never been my main motivation. I think that once we monetize our passions, the focus can shift to money, and that can sometimes lead to burnout. So for now, until I find a balance that works for me, I’m going to continue crafting simply for the joy of it.

So, how did I come up with the name “Kiki’s Cozy Creations,” you ask? Well, I recently became a grandmother! My stepdaughter, Ari, and her husband, Steve, welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Siena, and I’m so proud to be her “Kiki.” I’m also discovering that once you become a grandmother, you suddenly need to learn how to cook and knit! So here we are.

Although, to be fair, my pre-grandmother self definitely made the margaritas! LOL
