🫙JAR DONATION DRIVE!🫙
I’m putting out a little call for help from my local community! ❤️
As I’ve been making more jams, jellies, pickles, preserves, and other homemade goods to sell, one of my biggest unexpected expenses has been JARS.
I’ve been trying to keep my prices affordable, but between ingredients, labels, packaging, and the jars themselves, I’m finding that I’m not making enough profit to continually replace my jar supply. I’ve also had quite a few jars not make their way back after being sold.
So… if you have a pile of jars sitting around that you don’t know what to do with, I would absolutely love to give them a second life!🥹🫙
I’m looking for:
• Used canning jars — Ball, Kerr, Bernardin, etc.
• New/unused canning jars
• Pint, half-pint, 4 oz, 8 oz, quart, etc.
• Canning jars with or without rings/lids
• Old glass food jars that you’ve been saving
• Jam/jelly jars
• Sauce, salsa, pickle, or other food jars
• Pretty or unusual jars that could be reused for packaging
• Even jars that have been sitting in the back of a cabinet for years!
Don’t worry if they aren’t perfect! I can sort through them and determine what can be safely reused for what.
For actual home-canned products, I do need jars that are appropriate and in good condition, but other food-safe jars can still be useful for things like dry goods, non-canned products, crafts, storage, etc.
If you have jars you'd be willing to donate, please send me a message! I’m happy to arrange pickup/drop-off depending on location.
And if you’ve purchased jars from me before, please consider returning the empty jars! ♻️🫙 Even one or two jars coming back makes a difference.
I’m trying to keep my little business growing without having to raise prices just to cover packaging, and your old jars could genuinely help me do that. ❤️
Thank you!! 🫙🌿✨
