🚿 Yes! I DO wash my dahlias!

🪳 As an organic gardener, bugs are expected, it’s just part of mother nature. So if I’m cutting dahlias to create bouquets for you, I give them all a good wash!

🤪 The first reel I made to show you how I wash them was a bit of a blooper because I tried to shake off my bent Dahlia a bit too hard, and the momentum kicked in and snapped the flower right off!

🎬 So here’s my second attempt to show you how I actually, and successfully, wash my dahlias. Give it a try next time you see bugs in your flowers.

💐 And if you’re looking for a bouquet or other garden items and handmade funsies, don’t forget to stop at your local self-serve Flower Cart in East Renton Highlands, Maplewood Heights neighborhood.

📍 you can find directional signs at the four-way stop just south of Maplewood Heights elementary school, or message for address.

👉 Follow Twine and Dandy : Garden-Style Bouquets to see what else is growing in the garden and what ends up on the flower cart each weekend.
OPEN Friday-Sunday, 9 AM till dark.

🌿 One minute I had way too much basil. The next, I had an entire collection of herb salts.

🍃 I couldn’t let all those extra garden herbs go to waste, so I harvested them, blended them with kosher salt, dried them low and slow, and packed everything into these little jars.

🫵 Now I need to know… which flavor would you reach for first? Tell me below, and I can tell you what I suggest you use it on! 😋

👉 Then come grab your pick at the Twine and Dandy : Garden-Style Bouquets Flower Cart, open Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. until dark. And of course, we always have 💐🌸 bouquets and other garden funsies available too!
