Indigo Shift is one of those pieces you have to see in motion.

The resin moves between deep blue and violet depending on how the light hits it — giving you a completely different look from every angle.

It’s subtle… but it’s what makes this board feel different.

Paired with black walnut and finished for serving, it’s designed for gatherings, gifting, or simply having something beautiful out on the counter.

✨ 24" x 12"
✨ Color-shifting epoxy (blue → violet)
✨ Finished with food-safe oil & wax
✨ One of a kind

Well… these were originally made for our living room.
But as you can see, Bailey has other plans.
After a few days of “testing,” he’s officially claimed the blush one as his personal throne (despite having multiple dog beds and pillows nearby… obviously inferior choices).
We’re kind of obsessed with how these turned out — the carved legs, the texture, the fringe… they feel like those little unexpected pieces that make a room.
So now we’re thinking… Should these become a new Nightshade Nook product?
We’d love your thoughts: 👉 Which one is your favorite — blush or blue? 👉 And more importantly… do we make a larger version so Bailey actually fits? 😂

There’s something really special about sending a piece out into the world… and hearing it landed exactly where it was meant to.
Grateful for kind words like these and for every order that lets us keep creating in our little sawdust-filled studio 🤍

Running the CNC today for a custom order… and this is where things get real.

Once the carving starts, it’s permanent — which is why everything is measured, placed, and double checked before that first pass.

Michelle & Matt’s board is coming to life ✨
Next step: epoxy fill.

✨ Another pour happening tonight in the Nightshade Nook workshop!
We’re mixing up epoxy and pouring a new charcuterie board for our upcoming collection, and you’re invited to watch the process unfold.
Every board begins with a carefully selected slab of hardwood that has been debarked, flattened, jointed, planed, and sanded in our workshop until the wood grain is clean and ready for resin.
Tonight is the moment where the transformation begins — the epoxy pour. Color starts to flow, the design begins to reveal itself, and the board begins its slow curing process that will eventually become a smooth, glass-like river.
If you enjoy seeing how handmade pieces come together, grab a cup of coffee (we definitely have ours ☕), say hello in the comments, and watch the workshop in action with us.
From sawdust and raw wood to a finished serving piece… this is where the process begins.

✨ Live from the workshop tonight at Nightshade Nook Décor!
We’re pouring epoxy for a custom charcuterie board, and you’re invited to watch part of the magic happen. This is the moment where wood grain, color, and resin begin their transformation from raw materials into a finished serving piece.
Before the pour ever begins, the slab goes through a full round of preparation in our workshop — debarked, flattened, planed, and sanded until the wood grain is clean and ready for resin.
Tonight you’ll see the epoxy pour — the stage where color begins to flow and the design of the board truly starts to take shape, beginning the slow curing process that turns the resin into a smooth, glass-like river.
If you’ve ever wondered how our boards come together, this is your chance to see a piece in progress. Grab a cup of coffee (we’ll definitely have ours ☕), say hello in the comments, and watch the process unfold with us.
And for our customer who ordered this board — this is your board taking its very first step toward becoming a finished piece.
From sawdust to serving table… welcome to the workshop.
If you’ve ever thought about designing a custom board of your own, nights like this are where those pieces begin.

We’re going live in the workshop while we oil and condition a batch of freshly finished charcuterie boards.
This is the moment when the wood really comes to life — the grain deepens, the colors warm up, and all that sanding finally pays off. We use food-safe cutting board oil and wax to protect the wood and bring out its natural beauty.
If you’ve ever wondered what the final step looks like before a board heads off to its new home, come hang out with us for a few minutes. Sawdust, coffee, and probably a dog or two wandering through the shop included.

Process video: Prepping a janky board!
This board had a few p***y areas — meaning spots where the wood started to soften from natural rot while the tree was growing.
Before we can pour epoxy, those areas have to be cleaned out so the resin can properly stabilize the wood.
It’s part of the process that turns a rough slab into a functional and stunning charcuterie board.

✨ Supporting A Taste of Pittsford ✨
We’re honored to be donating one of our signature charcuterie boards, Moonlit Pearl, to the Pittsford Rotary’s major fundraiser, A Taste of Pittsford.
Crafted from rich black walnut and flowing with a luminous pearl epoxy river, Moonlit Pearl blends natural warmth with modern elegance — finished with brushed nickel handles and ready to anchor your next gathering.
This piece will be featured in the silent auction, and we’re proud to support an event that brings our local community together for such an important cause.
If you’re attending, be sure to stop by and place your bid. 💫
Supporting local matters. Giving back matters. And gathering around good food always matters.

💜 Rehome Blackberry Bling 💜

Blackberry Bling has been with us longer than almost any piece in our studio. It’s watched pours, sanding days, late nights, and countless coffee-fueled mornings.

Somehow, it’s still here — patiently waiting for the right home. Maybe that’s exactly how it was meant to be.

One available. Ready for its next chapter.

Blackberry Bling is a handcrafted black walnut charcuterie board with a smoky purple epoxy river and modern black handles—perfect for elevated entertaining and gifting.
