Mashed potatoes… but make them MONSTER MASH 👻💚

Two more Halloween sensory play ideas using simple supplies!

💚 Monster Mash: press, stamp, and make monster tracks in green mashed potatoes.
🎃 Haunted Paper Confetti: search for hidden ghosts and pumpkins, then sort your spooky finds! No felt? Use simple paper cut outs or trinkets from the dollar store!

Iceberg slime tutorial… let’s get it right this time 😂🧊

If you’ve been following along, you’ll remember I waited TOO long for the crispy crust last time 🫠 So we’re trying again!

The goal: a crispy shell with soft, stretchy slime underneath 🤞 This time, I’m leaving it uncovered for 24–48 hours and checking along the way—drying time can vary!

Our park trips just got a little more adventurous! 📹🌳

The distance was the real test for me 😂 I honestly expected the picture to get fuzzy or the sound to start cutting out as we moved farther apart at the playground. I was so surprised by how well these worked!

🍒 Cranberry bog: Water + fresh cranberries for floating, pouring, and transferring with scoops and tongs.

🎃 Pumpkin cloud dough: Cornstarch + conditioner + orange food coloring for pressing, rolling, and making pumpkin shapes.

These simple fall activities give preschoolers a playful way to explore textures and practice fine motor skills—at home or in the classroom!
