My Sisters' Gifts

My Sisters' Gifts This group has been created for crafters who knit and crochet hats to bless those receiving cancer treatment. I'm a crafter, and I love to crochet.

I have created this project in memory of two of my sisters, who now live in heaven. My oldest sister Lynn died of breast cancer in 1998. My sister Myra lost her battle with Multiple Systems Atrophy in 2008. I miss both of them terribly, and wanted to do something positive in their honor. I decided to crochet hats and prayer cloths for people receiving cancer treatments. If my two sisters were still with us, I'm sure they would love to help out with this project. I'm making gifts in honor of them -- thus the name My Sisters' Gifts. For more information, please contact Donna at [email protected]

This caught my attention today as I was delivering hats to the St. Elizabeth Cancer Center. My prayer is that everyone gets to ring that bell!

It's our 10th Anniversary! My Sisters' Gifts has been going strong since March, 2015. In those ten years, we have donated over 13,000 items to our local cancer centers. I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to serve others in this way.

We couldn't be successful without your support. We have some incredible volunteers! It truly is a group effort. We can always use more help. If you knit or crochet, please join us! If you'd like to help in another way, here's how you can help:

1. Pray for us and the people we serve.
2. Donate yarn, gift cards to Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or Amazon, or contact me to donate cash to be used for supplies.
3. Pick something from our Amazon wish list. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1H7AG4J612HJD?ref_=list_d_wl_lfu_nav_4

Here's to more years of serving others!
