Full-Time Head Baker & General Manager

Penn's Woods Pretzel Co. is seeking a skilled, passionate Head Baker & General Manager to lead daily production and kitchen operations at our Edinboro, PA storefront. We specialize in traditional Bavarian-style soft pretzels, laminated pretzel croissants, and specialty baked goods.
Position Overview
As our Head Baker & GM, your primary focus is inside the kitchen—mastering dough production, baking schedules, and quality control. Business owners handle client relations, external sales channels, and supply ordering to protect your time and keep your role focused on kitchen craftsmanship, daily operational flow, and internal inventory tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily kitchen operations to meet production needs.
Conduct weekly inventory counts and report upcoming supply needs.
Maintain rigorous kitchen sanitation, food safety compliance, and equipment care.
Assist with front-of-house interaction on occasion.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Core Schedule: Daytime shifts, primarily Monday through Friday.
3-Day Weekend Rotation: Enjoy most weekends off! You will rotate to work just one Saturday per month.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 / hour based on experience.
Paid Time Off: 10 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year.

Qualifications
Commercial baking or high-volume kitchen experience (yeasted doughs or pastry lamination preferred).
