🥳 Celebrate with Sucre À La Crème by MC 's 1st anniversary where she will be vending at the Madeline Park Shakespeare Festival on September 26th and October 3rd from 5pm to 10pm

Marie will be featuring some special never before seen Quebec flavors with 2 new desserts and some of her crowd favorites

She will be highlighting her Pouding Chomeur with an elevated Sucre a la Creme twist with her families maple syrup from Quebec. It's a family tradition of hers since forever and one of the families favorites

She will also have her Queen Elizabeth cake. The story is a little foggy but apparently this is the dessert the Chef at the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City served Queen Elizabeth in the 50s.

Window Trail at Big Bend 🌄

The plan was to head to the Santa Elena the next day but mother nature had other plans. A storm moved in and washed out some areas including Santa Elena. Some camp grounds even had to be evacuated. The whole area lost power around 5pm on Friday Sept 4th and they still didn't have power back in the bend, Terlingua or Terlingua Ranch when we left the following Sunday. Apparently it's a pretty regular occurrence for them to lose power due to weather out there but not as long as they did this time. The weather can move pretty quickly out there. It's a rough and rugged country and so wildly gorgeous. You have to drink thrice the amount of water you usually should. God gave us truly something special with Big Bend. There is no need for greed to come through and ruin it.

I encourage everyone to go and visit, very soon. It's only a bshort beaitiful 4.5 hour drive away. We don't know what the future has in store and the landscape and ecosystem can change very quickly if we let it. A reminder to please make sure you are registered to vote. If you aren't I can help you get registered.
