Good morning and welcome to my brand new page and very first post. I have set up this page, Ben's Grandma's Little Blankets to publicize my latest way to spend my retirement hours. I come from a long line of women who make quilts. My grandmother, my mother, and who knows, maybe generations before them. I make lap-sized pieced and tufted blankets. Sometimes I quilt them. They are a good size for babies also, or as a cover-up for a nursing mama. My blankets are currently available at Mubdie's: A Creative Collective, located on Main Street in Isleton, CA. Isleton is a sweet Delta town right on the Sacramento River, between Walnut Grove and Rio Vista. Approximately 20 artists are represented, offering a wide range of beautiful items. It is a great way to spend a day exploring, shopping and enjoying the local food offerings. Hopefully, I will learn more about how to use Facebook, and offer some photos of my work. For now, being a "newbie", I hope this initial post offers you a glimpse of what Ben's Grandma's Little Blankets is about. Have a wonderful day!
