Annex Supply Co.

Today we sold a Groen 40-gallon steam-jacketed kettle and added a Blodgett countertop convection oven to the same deal. Both sold for $1,000.

The lesson for us: keep the conversation going beyond the first piece of equipment. Sometimes another item we have is worth putting on the table.

Looking for commercial kitchen equipment? Message Annex Supply Co. with what you need, and we’ll let you know what’s available.

A little behind the scenes at Annex Supply Co.

We had an opportunity today to look through a mix of commercial kitchen equipment, arcade equipment and several other interesting pieces.

Finding the opportunity is only step one.

Now we're working through values, logistics and what kind of deal makes the most sense. That could mean purchasing equipment outright, or potentially structuring a consignment arrangement.

Nothing has been finalized yet — but this is a pretty good example of what happens behind the scenes before inventory ever shows up for sale.

The Annex Supply Co. truck doesn't only move Annex inventory.

We have a 12' liftgate box truck available for select Omaha-area and regional pickups and deliveries — including auction purchases, commercial equipment, pallets, furniture and business overflow. We're especially interested in building relationships with businesses that don't need another truck every day…they just need somebody dependable to call when something needs moved.

Send us the pickup location, delivery location and a picture or description of the load and we'll let you know if it fits.

Diagnosing issues in commercial equipment is where the real work begins. We test, understand, and accurately describe each piece before selling.

Follow Annex Supply Co. for reliable restaurant and refrigeration equipment or message us for what you need!

The Watson's will be having a Junk Nebraska's Junk Jaunt location in Grand Island September 25-27th, I will be there with a bunch of inventory, some big, small, new, used, or old.

I originally needed a box truck because Annex sells stuff that's too damn big to fit in a pickup. Then I started looking at it differently. If the truck is sitting, it's an expense. If I can use the same asset to deliver my inventory, move somebody else's purchase, and haul freight for local businesses, it becomes a revenue stream. Same truck. Different question.

One thing I'm learning while building Annex: opportunity isn't really the problem.

I can buy more inventory. I can chase more auctions. I can add delivery. I can find freight. I can work on commercial equipment.

The real constraint is deciding which opportunity deserves the next hour.

Growth creates its own kind of clutter.
