Unfortunately owning a homestead means you have to accept loss. Over the weekend we discovered not one, but two holes in our chicken run and a slew of feathers. We are now down to 4 hens and 1 rooster, when we originally had 10 laying hens and two roosters. It’s heart breaking knowing the animals we’ve hand raised were snagged by something in the night. The coop is reinforced; holes patched; wire reattached and fortified.
For now, egg sales will be on pause as we mourn our beautiful flock.

Sometimes, you have to show gratitude any way you can. 💕 Today, this order of two dozen cookies went to a very kind & hard working nursing staff. Without nurses, the medical world would not go round. So very grateful we could give some love to some great people. I hope they enjoyed these cookies as much as we appreciate them!

Our sourdough cinnamon roll is the best of both worlds! Commonly known as Grandma’s Favorite; our cinnamon roll is made just like my grandmother prefers. Loaded with cinnamon, sugar, and as much frosting as the pastry can hold. It’s perfect paired with a cup of coffee 😜 come snag one today at Nine Line Apparel! We’re here till noon!
