A few weeks ago, we harvested our first batch of honey!! We harvested about 10 pounds, which may sound like a ton, but in the beekeeping world itā€™s a small harvest, but I was so excited to see those golden jars all lined up!šŸÆ

The bees are looking healthy as we head into fall, and the boxes Iā€™ve left for them are full as winter approaches. After losing my hives last year, this feels like such a promising start!

Iā€™m pretty confident theyā€™ll make it through the winter (Iā€™m living and learning with beekeeping) and that Iā€™ll have plenty of honey to share with you next year. šŸ¤

We love family pieces and the history they carry.

This 1950 Farmall belonged to Grandpa Paul. The little boy on the right is Johnathan, with his cousin Daniel beside him, sitting on the very same tractor many years ago.

After Grandpa Paul passed, the tractor was given to Johnathan, who beautifully restored it. It has been in storage for the past two years and needs a little work before it runs again, but he is so happy to finally have it home.

Itā€™s more than an old tractorā€¦itā€™s a piece of Johnathanā€™s childhood, his grandpa, and familyā€™s story. Grandpa Paulā€™s Farmall is home where it belongs and I think he would be very proud. ā¤ļøšŸšœ
