The Cosmic Deck of Initiation is a unique, beautiful and ethereal “Light Energy” deck.

In the early 90s Barbara M. DeLong, an internationally recognised artist, mystic, lecturer and educator, set out to create a new oracle deck, a deck of energy and light. A deck that would serve both the novice and the spiritually advanced, the child and the master.

Already experienced in painting personal mandalas, Barbara began to channel the numinous cards of The Cosmic Deck of Initiation; for nine months solid she channelled and painted for over twelve hours a day! An experience that so filled her with joy and bliss that she never tired and couldn’t wait to pick up her paint brushes each day as the mandalas began, through her, to come to life in the material world.

You’ll find this “Light Energy” deck not only easy to shuffle but also to have an almost hypnotic quality, as these mystical mandalas connect you to realms of light, energy and spirit beyond our material world.



The cards are in very good condition and I’d describe the box as in good to very good condition. Post Medieval Devil’s Face Bronze Ring



A delightfully devilish little item, this bronze ring dates from the 18th to 19th century. Not many of these rings survived due to the persecutions of the church, so these are obviously much sort after. This particular ring came from the collection of a recently deceased connoisseur in Eastern Europe.

Rings of this type are reputed to have been worn by coven members or cultists to show their devotion to the “Devil.”

A special item that would be a magical addition to your collection and/or worn on your finger without looking ostentatious.

I have included a photo with the ring next to my own, to show how it will look after being worn in.

Antique Silver Plated “Bacchus” Wine Pitcher by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield. Circa 1870

Of course, you don’t have to pour your libations from an antique silver wine pitcher decorated with the likeness of the horned god Bacchus, after all a plastic measuring jug would do the job wouldn’t it?

But... it’s not really the same, is it?

You want a vessel that shines in the moon light as you raise it up high before you; which reflects the ruby red wine that you pour into the cups held out by your friends & family around you, you want something that’s not only in keeping with but actually enhances the occasion.

This beautiful wine pitcher has been doing just this for over a hundred years already!

Measuring approx 19cm in height & 13cm in diameter; weighing 572 grams, this electroplated silver, pewter jug was made by James Dixon & Sons in Sheffield, England sometime around 1860-70. It’s in very good condition considering its age; the silver plate has obviously worn through in places & there’s a small dent to the rear but it still retains its original smooth round shape & its distinctive quality.

Now Available: Antique Rococo Bas-relief Plaster Sculpture depicting a Bacchanalian Festival; Claude Michel “Clodion” circa1920s


Claude Michel, better known as Clodion (1743-1814) was a French born sculpture whose works represent the quintessence of the Rococo style. Clodoin studied under his uncle, the sculpture Lambert Sigisbert Adam and later Jean Babtiste Pigalle.

In 1759 Clodion won the grand prize for sculpture at the Academie Royale de Peinture et de Sculpture. Although Clodion worked mostly in terra-cotta, from which he cast his work in Bronze, he was also an acknowledged master in marble; Clodion’s preferred subject matter being nymphs, satyrs, bacchantes and other Classical figures sensually portrayed.

Perhaps because of his unwillingness to be seriously monumental he was never admitted to the Royal Academy. However, after being driven out of Paris in 1792 by the Revolution and returning to his home city of Nancy, he was flexible enough to adapt himself to neoclassical monumentality, and created the relief on the Arc de Triomphe!

Measuring approximately: 51x21x3.5 and weighing 3.5kg

This stunning relief is beautifully cast and displays the clear, well defined details of the original sculpture. It’s a superbly executed, sensual scene positively bursting with character and Bacchanalian passion.

Open the pages of this much-loved book, step into the world of the occult and take a visual journey through the very real world of magic and the supernatural, with 994 stunning, intriguing, captivating and at times unsettling black and white photos and illustrations, each one having an informative and detailed description along with it.

From astrology to voodoo, this book gives an insightful look at the many and varied ways that we human beings have interacted with the “other” throughout time and across the globe, presented in a way that connects to us viscerally as only images can.

The book is in very good condition, the cover has faded a little in the sun along the top edge and one of the corners has been bumped. There’s some slight yellowing along the edges of the pages but other than that the pages and illustrations are clean and bright. The spine and binding are both strong and sound and there are no loose pages. There are no notations, dog ears or underlining. It comes with its original dust jacket, which although complete does have some wear and tear to it.

The book measures 22x28cm, 317 pages.
