✨️ Our garden is growing! 🌿

Our Tradescantia plants have done A LOT of traveling with us this year, (and it was beginning to show 😅) so that meant it was time to recruit some new event buddies...

🌵 Meet our succulents! 🌵

These aren't just any succulents—they were all propagated from the plants from our wedding back in August 2024.

When we got married in Reno, we needed flowers that were low-pollen, to help those of us with allergies, and that could handle the 9 hour drive. Our florist () put together the perfect arrangements using succulents, vegetables, and our beloved purple and green Tradescantia.

After the wedding, we brought everything home, replanted it in our garden, and watched it grow right alongside our marriage. 🥹

Now we get to share those same "love plants" with all of you. 🫶

This clever design keeps protection close at hand while staying wonderfully discreet… and yes, it even comes with a cup 🍻

This was one of the very first Wizard Bow Staffs we ever created, and seeing them find homes with happy archers makes our little maker hearts ridiculously happy 💚

Symbolizing unity, prosperity, long life, and good fortune, it’s a knot with centuries of stories woven into every loop.

From macramé wall hangings to jewelry and decorative pieces, this timeless knot keeps finding new ways to knot let go of our hearts 🪢💫

And for us?
This was the very same knot used in our handfasting out at on June 8th, 2024 ❤️⚔️

A knot tied in love, and still holding strong 2 years later. 💚💜

✨️ We’re packing our bows, knots, and plenty of adventure because Staples Knots & Bows is heading to the Valhalla Renaissance Faire for the very first time! ✨

This year, the Faire has moved to its new home at Tahoe Paradise Park, where the towering pines of Lake Tahoe will once again become a village of knights, artisans, storytellers, and merriment fit for royalty. 👑

Come wander the marketplace, cheer at the joust, and stop by our booth to browse our handcrafted longbows, macramé creations, quivers, and other treasures. We can't wait to loose a few arrows, tie a few knots, and make some new friends along the way! 🎯🧵

✨ Meet Ganesha, the Remover of Obstacles. ✨

In Hindu tradition, Ganesha symbolizes new beginnings, wisdom, prosperity, and overcoming obstacles. While we're not religious people, Ganesha has become incredibly meaningful in my life.

Back in 2011, I bought a Ganesha print by in Venice Beach. Soon after, I found the courage to live on my own for the first time, rented a house with my best friend, and became a manager. Then Ganesha seemed to appear everywhere—at customers' homes, on walls where I'd park, in the most unexpected places. It felt like a sign to pay attention.

That journey inspired my Ganesha tattoo, based on Gary's artwork and surrounded by my family's favorite flowers and their names in their own handwriting.

Then, on my wedding day in 2024, my rideshare driver happened to be Hindu and had a Ganesha in his car. It felt like one last reminder that I'd overcome the obstacles and was exactly where I was meant to be.

Now there's always a handmade Ganesha hanging in our booth, carrying forward the hope and encouragement it has brought to my own life.

One Ganesha has already found its forever home... 🌿

✨ A custom order that definitely hit the mark. 🎯

These beauties were commissioned back at by an archer that wanted a matching setup worthy of the range.

The request:
💚 12 handmade Green & Gold arrows
💛 A matching handmade quiver to carry the whole flock

There's something extremely satisfying about a quiver full of arrows that all belong together. Matching colors, matching craftsmanship, and a setup that's sure to turn heads at the line.

We think this one came out looking pretty sharp... but we're a little biased. 😏
