IT’S BACK

The Reactor

This is a fun kit to fly and a real head turner at the field and a sturdy design. With the 24mm motor tube extending through the balsa wood transition into the parachute compartment. It gives you a double body tube lower section for strength. With basswood through the wall construction. The kit includes:

All balsa nose cone and transition
Bassword fins and centering rings
18 inch nylon parachute
Full set of vinyl decals 
Heavy duty ball bearing swivel for parachute attachment
750 lb Kevlar shock cord

The kit also includes an optional piece of coupler stock that can be added to the upper parachute compartment section to help prevent zippering.

More good news today everyone

Today we are offering an old favorite the Phantom. This will be a limited run of nine kits while we do plan to bring this kit back in the future. It may be sometime before we get back to it. So if you want one, we recommend you get one quick !

This kit has the following features:
Microelectronics board controlling the 10 on board LEDs, two color LEDs (purple and green), 18” nylon parachute, 3/32” basswood fins and a machined balsa wood nose cone. The Phantom is 24” in length and all of this in a 1.64” (BT-60) airframe! The Phantom flies on TWO 18mm motors. This is a challenging, but fun kit to both build and fly. 

The Phantom is now available on eBay at Leading Edge Rocketry for $75.00

It’s been an exciting day here we now have the laser cutter in our shop. We still need to get the software worked out as well as getting air hooked up and getting it vented but one step closer to full production.
