It was barely 70F today, thus, I went outside. I almost fell asleep in my chair watching the kids fishing with dad. But I managed to get some knitting done on my cardigan from left side, so close!! I’m so tired of being sick but it’s September which means I’m that much closer to getting this tumor removed I hope. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Less than 20 rows left on the back of my cardigan. I realized that I purchased the pattern kit in medium however I’m knitting the large, because naturally who doesn’t love their oversized cardigans extra big?! So I panicked and bought 3 more balls of yarn just in case… 😂😂worst case I make a hat or scarf?!

Yesterday’s weather and lunar eclipse were to die for, seriously. My illness means my body is not capable of thermoregulation so I can’t go outside when it’s hot. I was able to sit on my porch and watch the eclipse with my daughter, while knitting of course… almost done!!

The VA is forcing me back into therapy for PTSD that occurred during the navy. I don’t like this. But… I’ll do it. The good news is, it makes me knit faster. Always a silver lining, right? I’m almost finished with the back of my oversized sweater. I am so close. However, I’m willing to bed I’ll need more yarn than I initially estimated because we don’t gauge swatch in these here parts!
