Ranunculus are the definition of patience and reward.

Planted in November, they grow through the cold under a low tunnel greenhouse, protected all winter long.

Then spring arrives—and for a short, stunning season, they bloom into layers of soft, romantic color 💐

But as soon as warm temperatures hit, their season ends… making every bloom feel even more special. This year our order for next spring has been placed and we are averaging about 800 corms to be planted.

When the sun starts to set, the magic begins.

This is my favorite time of day to gather blooms and play with color, texture, shape, and movement. Every stem has its own personality, but together they create something beautiful.

Soft petals, wild textures, bold colors, delicate details… it’s amazing how nature knows exactly how to make everything fit together.

This is why I never get tired of growing flowers. Every arrangement tells a different story, and no two are ever the same.

We got this coolest antique porta potty from a dear find a month or so again. It needed a new roof, but everything else is in great shape. In fact, it still has the toilet paper roll dispenser.
