Z~BO Z~BO is a unique traveling boutique that sells distinctive fashion apparel at reasonable prices. Not your ordinary boutique, Z~BO comes to you!

We strive to provide unique, feminine clothing that is affordable to most with size ranges from S-3X. The clothing line features soft, easy-wear feminine lines but also does include a few bold and funky items as well. Our mission is to empower women by helping them feel good about their appearance - because when a woman feels good about what she is wearing, she is more confident and happy! Well, that's a wrap on 20 years of our small business adventure!
I have tried to show you that this was only possible because of the grace of God and the family support I had as well as YOUR SUPPORT!!! We are nothing without customers and YOU were always there supporting us! Unbelievable!!!
I wish I could thank each one of you in person! You have been such a blessing!!
Please keep in touch if you would like. I may be taking this page down but I will keep my personal page so you can reach me there. I have cried a lot of tears of joy these past few days as I reminisced about all the fun times we have shared.

YES, I did save the BEST for last! I can't put into words how much Randy has sacrificed for Z~BO! He called himself the TLC guy! (Tote, lug and carry!) But I call him MINE! :)
First off, how did he NOT say a negative comment about me going offroad and doing something completely NOT ME!!?? Always kind and supportive to me! He did not expect to be drug into this by having to not only provide computer/technical support BUT also A LOT of MANUAL labor - hauling heavy grid and totes, installing lights and then taking it all down and hauling it back to the trailer!!! Our booth would never have looked as nice without his expertise! (I think we only have one fall down!) haha
He also manned the computer/checkout process for me during the early years. Again, not his favorite thing to do - especially when customers would ask him questions about the clothing. He tried his best to answer and wondered if he needed to come up with something for the men!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Randy! I love you so much and it was fun to do this adventure together! Now on to the next one!

Z~BO brought so much joy to her life! She absolutely loved it and was always up for a new adventure! She is known for always wearing pink, fancy pants and POPPING THE COLLAR!! How many collars do you think she popped in 20 years!!!??? Behind the scenes she helped open boxes, hang up clothes and steam clothes - not a glamorous job - but she enjoyed being a part of the business in every aspect! She was like the energy bunny! Never running out of steam!
I have so MANY photos of so many of you with MOM so I apologize for not getting all of them posted. Please know how much you all mean to her too! She just LOVED when people came to shop here and of course seeing you all at the in-person events. THANK YOU for loving her so well! ❤

Angie Nordstrom - the right words aren't coming to express how grateful I am for all that you have done for me on this Z~BO journey!! You were "IN" from the start with all kinds of help to make our booth "eye catching" and being my "word girl"!! I don't really know how many years you worked on the newsletter for me!!! It always looked very professional thanks to you!
You even had to improve your vertical jump to get my attention in a packed booth of women at the Grape Stomp!! I will never forget that!
We often bantered back and forth about the matchy-matchy look I preferred over mixing patterns and that's what made it fun! I loved how you could put outfits together for fashion shows and mannequin displays! You have so many creative gifts and I am thankful that you so graciously shared them with me for so many years!
You also gave me courage!!! I remember wanting to throw up before our first Facebook LIVE and you were there encouraging me and being by my side! THANK YOU for that!
You made a big difference in this Z~BO journey, Angie, and I can't even find the words to thank you! I hope you understand what my heart wants to say! ❤

NOW for the Hard part - thanking those who have stood by my side through all the ups and downs over the years!
I am going to start with Miss Abby! It's hard to believe she has practically grown up with Z~BO!!! After all, she did come up with the name because she could not say gazebo!! She has brought a lot of joy and creativity over the years (as you can see by the photos!)

It has been such a joy to watch you grow into a beautiful young woman who is now on her own new beginning as a teacher! You are so loved!

Good Afternoon, Friends!
Is this beginning to feel like the Looooonnnnggg Goodbye!???
It's time for me to stop the looking back and focus on living in the today!
I am going to finish up the goodbye to Z~BO and move on to what God has in store for me!.... So here it goes!
2014-2019:
My dad died in 2014 so I canceled a few events and slowed down a bit.
2015 and 2016 were drastic slow downs. I did try an outside event in my hometown (even though I said I would never do outside events). It was a motorcycle ride-in and I received a hilarious reaction from one of my customers: "Lauri! What are you doing here???"
By 2020, my sales had increased to the glory days! How can that be?? Well, I started going LIVE on Facebook - another thing I NEVER wanted to do!! Angie and Abby stood by me to give me the courage to do it and I am forever grateful for that! We had a lot of laughs together! I thought I was selling off my inventory and going to be done since the pandemic had shut down so many of my in-person events, but God had another plan....
2021-2025 were great years - but it was getting harder to do the big events - especially with all the health concerns we were dealing with. I was starting to question if it was time to let go. I started hearing it from those close to me as well.
2026: The year started with this Bible verse: Isaiah 43:19 "See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" I slowed down my ordering and waited to see what God would show me. I was diagnosed with cancer in March and I FINALLY got the message! It's time to stop!
So here I am - trying to stop but still holding on!! Have you ever done that??? Here's to allowing God to close the door and for having courage to keep following His lead as He changes our direction!
Today I am finishing up and moving into the present! Thank you for your patience with me as I go through this process!

2013!
YES! It was another GREAT year for us!! I count 25 plus events because some are all under one heading. We started having summer long weekend events at Clara's Place in Alexandria MN this year. Randy's Mom ran the sweetshop for us by making her famous root b**r floats and all kinds of goodies! We also presented our styles during the fashion shows for the ND Winter Show and Women's Showcase at Back to the 50's car show ! PLUS we attended the RRV Breast Cancer Awareness event in October! I believe this is the year we had LIVE mannequin models at the women's night out event too! What an adventure!

Another great year for us with Girls Night Out events; Ultimate Diva, Rodeos, Home Shows, Fashion Shows and vendor events! So much fun - but also a lot of work! I have to keep tell you that it was not just me but a host of family and friends who have helped me out along the way! More to come on that!
I LOVED photos shoots and fashion shows!!
These memories are so very precious to me!
Erin London jackets were top sellers for MANY years, so I included a couple photos of those as well!
Oh - the famous picture of our dear sweet Abby during one of our photo shoots happened in 2012 too! All these memories are so very precious to me!!
