It's International Literacy Day! Is it a coincidence that it is also the first day of our September extended hours? Absolutely! Seems like luck wanted to give you more time to celebrate 🍀

On a serious note, today is about reminding policymakers how vital literacy is to the individual and society as a whole. It is a right due to all, and we aren't soon to let them forget it.

Our next rec is a true classic. What most people don't know is Carmilla came before Dracula, written by Irish author Joseph Sheridan le Fanu. An Irish female vampire? Perfect.

This is Quincy, the Imp.
He's very excited to share with you that September is vampire month!

Why is it vampire month? For a couple of reasons, one of the most important being that Baldur's Gate: Astarion comes out on the 29th!

So obviously we're celebrating by theming book club this month (Thursday, Sept 17th) as Vampires, with Twilight as our spotlight title, and providing sanguine recs everyday.
