What an absolutely STUNNING sunrise! This is one of my favorite times to be on the beach. I love the peace and quiet that you get on the beach EARLY. It’s therapeutic.

With yesterday being a teacher planning day, I decided to put together a single day mini camp for kids. It turned out to be a GREAT DAY! We caught so many fish, the wether was perfect, and the water cleaned up a good bit.

I arrived well before camp began to pick a spot and setup so I got to witness an absolutely STUNNING sunrise! There is nothing better than being on the beach early and watching the sun rise and the rods bend! My favorite way to start the day!

Thank you to the families that came out. It was a great day!

How most people give fishing advise… 🤣

Went out yesterday for some bait and threw a couple shark rigs out with fresh mullet while pumping ghost shrimp… I was NOT expecting this!!!!

Water was pretty brown, as expected with strong winds from the south, so I figured sharks and catfish were expected…. Well if you’re going to catch a catfish, then catch A CATFISH!!! This sail cat was nearly 4lbs!! Measured almost 22” long! It ate a live mullet on my shark rig lol. What a beast!!

P.S. the pictures do it no justice. Getting a good picture that accurately shows the size BY YOUR SELF can be a bit tricky lol. 3lbs 12oz.
