Velociraptor build update.

The bottom jaw, both front arms, torso, and pelvis are now finished. Currently printing are the right leg, top of the head, and tail. Still remaining after that are the left leg, an optional top head with no eyes, and optional bone pieces.

This display piece is already turning out much bigger than expected, and it should be a fun eye-catcher once fully assembled.

We are also planning to add a printed chain around its neck with a name tag, then have the chain lead down to the table as a fun “chained up for your safety” booth display.

Now we need your help with a name. We are currently thinking about Chompy, but we would love to hear other ideas.

Velociraptor build update.

The bottom jaw and front arms are finished, and this project is already looking like it is going to be a serious display piece. The jaw is large, the teeth stand out, and the front claws are adding a lot of character even before the rest of the body is printed.

This is only the beginning of the Velociraptor build, so there are still several plates left to go, but it is already shaping up to be an eye-catching booth piece.

We also finished up the monkeys, and they turned out full of personality with big eyes, a fun grin, long tail, and poseable-style details.

More updates will be coming as the Velociraptor continues to come together.

Happy Wednesday from Castle Country Design and Print.

We have a couple fun prints to share today: a mini T-Rex and a flexi seal.

The mini T-Rex has that classic tiny-arm, big-attitude dinosaur look, and the seal has a sweet face, spotted detail, and playful flexi-style movement. Both are great little picks for kids, collectors, desk buddies, shelf decor, gift baskets, or anyone who likes fun animal prints.

We are also working on more items this week. There are monkeys on the printer now, and the first plate for a large display Velociraptor is still going. The jaw is already looking bigger than expected, so that one should be a fun one to show off soon.

Good afternoon everyone!

I wanted to take a minute to introduce Castle Country Design and Print.

My name is Kirby, and I run Castle Country Design and Print out of Ferron, Utah. We are a small home-based 3D printing business making fun flexi animals, minis, dinosaurs, dragons, gifts, custom items, practical prints, and other 3D printed goodies.

Right now we have 74 unique standard inventory items and 22 unique minis available online. Items can be ordered through our website, and shipping is available as well.

We also do custom 3D printing. That can include replacement parts, small fixes, brackets, organizers, functional pieces, personalized items, or prints made to help solve those annoying little “why does this stupid thing not exist?” problems around the house.

We make custom lithophane items. These are photo-based prints that light up from behind and turn your picture into a glowing display. They can be made as nightlights or light boxes.

The light boxes can have 4 interchangeable panels, so you can remove and replace panels as your family grows, seasons change, or you just want to switch things up without buying a whole new box.

These can be made for any occasion, like:
Memorials for loved ones or pets
New babies
Weddings and anniversaries
Family photos
Seasonal panels like Christmas, Halloween, birthdays, and other holidays
Special gifts

Lighting options can include battery powered lights, fairy lights, or wall powered lights using USB-A to USB-C. I recommend either battery powered or wall powered since they light up better and longer.
