Secret Garden at Wolf Hollow

After a day of spending a little money - I pulled into the drive as the sun was starting to set. I have so many plans for Wolf Hollow. I feel like I have done very little so far. I do know the azalea will all be “Pride of Mobile” and the Crepe Myrtle will all be “Natchez”.

I pray to see a foundation or two in the Spring of 2027. It’s all in God’s timing.

My good friend, Grandmother of the Bride, just shared this picture taken at Martingayle Plantation. The large entrance pieces had not yet been added in the picture - but the ferns were beautiful. They have and continue to struggle with the heat. Even with the occasional rain - I am having to water them every day.

Today we honored the life of our Aunt Eloise LeCroy. From Parlor, to Graveside, to Lunch - everything about it was pure Southern Class. Secret Garden arranged (97) roses for (97) wonderful years. The Kimberly Queen and Asparagus ferns coming up the drive provided greenery for the arrangement.

Keith and I are hosting lunch after Friday’s service honoring Aunt Eloise. While it may be after 1AM - my contribution is from one of the best recipes for a Coconut Cake. It will be getting better and better over the next (36) hours.
