Hey! Happy Sunday and welcome to your weekly astro weather for September 14-20 2026. This week’s pic, of the Milky Way, comes from the dark sky property of my friends and Soul Freqs at large, Tami and Joe! With permission, of course! Spectacular, isn’t it? We are finally breathing a bit easier with eclipse season officially behind us. A slow Luna grinds thru Scorpio, bounds thru Sagittarius, and gets serious in Capricorn this week while we now have the 4 outer most planets, Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune + Saturn in Aries, and Uranus in Gemini all backtracking. It is looking to be a fairly rough week-especially early on, for relationships with some potential for some serious conversations to be had. Let’s check things out!

We start the week on Monday with Luna having just cannonballed into deep, cannot let s**t go Scorpio. She spends the early morning hours stimulating things around interpersonal dynamics, decision-making, resources, and matters of personal will, power, and control and honestly, it feels pretty obsessive. And the afternoon brings opportunity to obsess a bit more obviously and actively. There is also potential that something said in the morning doesn’t fully land until afternoon and evening. So it may be time to have to figure out how to respond to or deal with it.

And all’a that may come back up on Tuesday as well! It may be a day for a big reveal, or maybe a realization that can no longer be swept under any proverbial rugs. The truth is out there. Deal with it. Bust a bold move if need be. And one of the biggest, most obvious realizations might be power imbalances within close personal relationships. And they aren’t likely to remain tolerable. It is just a bumpy day for relationships, especially if one party happens to have critical personal planets at or around 3° of particularly fixed signs (Ta**us, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius). Confusion or disillusionment might be part of the interpersonal package on this day. Some kind of stock drop or market correction wouldn’t be out of the question either. Tuesday also brings a very rare perfect alignment, the second of 6 total, between the two slowest moving, furthest out planets…Neptune and Pluto. These two will align, albeit subtly 6x between July 25th (2026) and November 7 2028. They don’t align very often, in fact, the last proper alignment between them was their conjunction (collocation) about 135 years ago…in April 1892! (The full cycle between these two is almost 500 years, give or take!) Together these guys tend to shape /transform the beliefs of the global collective and what we actually DO with them so these next few years would be expected to be producing movement in that direction. As I’ve mentioned before, this is one exact alignment, a day on the calendar, but for these guys it doesn’t mean they produce an observable event this day. And I’m sharing this info because it’s a relatively slow “news week” haha. The vibe of Monday and Tuesday continues over the next several days.

By midday Wednesday the mood buoys considerably as perspectives update and that carries thru to Friday when the good mood has potential to drop with a thud. It could be a day rife with misunderstandings, most likely driven by a lack of interest in listening to or “hearing” each other. Straight up critical interactions and nitpicking are possible as well but it isn’t a terrible day to brooch serious subjects if necessary. This wouldn’t be a good day to engage in idle gossip unless you wanna totally get busted!

And Saturday and Sunday just bring a weekend when the cosmos aren’t really weighing in on anything in particular. The Moon will totally be here for de-cluttering and organizing and maybe a bit of strategic planning tho. Even without much specifically happening, it feels anything but idle. Hey, good morning, Happy Sunday and welcome to your weekly astro weather for September 7-13 2026. This week’s new moon officially closes out a wild eclipse season and it does so on a day I am just going to call Wild Card Thursday! Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune + Saturn in Aries are retrograde and, spoiler alert, they’re picking up another re-visitor this week. Luna opens up the week caring about things in Cancer, blazes confidently thru Leo, thinks things thru in Virgo, and breezes thru Libra to ride things out!

Monday morning opens with a lovely energy for caring about the peeps with whom we share close emotional bonds…it also may catalyze some to sense an imbalance between what helps them feel emotionally safe vs what they do to keep the peace within relationships of all sort. People pleasing at the expense of how one really feels does no one any good and will always bleed out at some point. So Monday is probably a good day to examine relationships with some authenticity and endeavor to keep em real and beneficial for both parties. Passive aggressive resentment isn’t a happy place to live.

Tuesday brings continued opportunity to reinforce however Monday was handled, rewarding courage and making it easier to extricate oneself from unhealthy situations. And that’s a vibe continues further into Wednesday, a day grounded and founded in fate and destiny. Attempts to maintain a precarious “peace” might come to a natural conclusion, but it is also possible to find inspiration for new ways to negotiate mutually beneficial coexistence. Some may find themselves “lucky” with regard to relationships or resources later in the day…new perspectives in self love/value/worth might be a thing too!

So…Thursday…geez, just where to begin?! By the time most rise and shine, a deep, penetrative seriousness is likely to have replaced the more convivial atmosphere with regard to relationships…like the ice cream flavor “This sh*t just got serious”! Haha Any undeserved “passes” observed in relationships may be torn up and tossed out for the next several weeks. Let’s see what survives the crucible. This will oddly overlap for a brief time offering at least an attempt toward trying to see others’ points of view or tempering the words we share with others, but a vibe toward gossiping or talking behind others’ backs could be a thing too. Hurt feelings, even ones we try very hard to ignore, could come spilling out. If this is the case, it is probably for the best…to declutter the consciousness and clear the air so we can get on with our lives already! By early afternoon, but really a potent influence all week, maybe all month, Uranus will stop and station retrograde at 5° Gemini. He will blow back to 1° before resuming forward progress again next February. Uranus changing directions can bring some shake, rattle, and roll’ing and in Gemini I’d be watching for sudden, unexpected disruptions in “travel” and communication systems of all kind, at a collective/global level but also in the lives of individuals with prominent natal placements at or about 5° of particularly mutable signs (gemini, virgo, sagittarius, pisces). By bedtime, Luna hooks up with Sol at 18° Virgo for the New Moon in the sign of The Servant for 2026. Time to declare your intentions for the virgo sector of your life. And this new moon officially concludes eclipses for 2026. You may now resume your regularly scheduled life. I mean, unless you can’t (due to recent shifts)! Haha If that’s the case, time to start creating new “normal”!

Friday seems a pretty innocuous day, so take advantage because the weekend could be pretty interesting. There is a lot of opportunity come Saturday and Sunday for seeing things we cannot unsee with regard to our interpersonal interactions and communication style within relationships of all manner. Where do we allow ourselves to be handled, or possibly “bully” others? Is our perspective “real” or based in illusion or delusion? Some words are likely to slip out, leaving the utterer to ask “did I say that out loud?!” If you have to defend yourself with words, do it! Hey, howdy and welcome to your weekly astro weather for August 31-September 6 2026. This week’s pic was near the fullest part of Thursday’s Lunar Eclipse, taken by my daughter and son-in-law…so thanks Cass and Bill for permission to use! It’s a beaut! And for the first time in a long time I can say that we have a fairly decent looking week on tap…once we get past an initial “bump” on Monday and Tuesday, anyway. And just in time…it’s been pretty rough, this eclipse season. Big names checking out, big world events popping off. Madness! But here we are, nothing to do but carry on. Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune + Saturn in Aries continue on their merry retrograde ways and Luna rocks Aries, calms down in Ta**us, breezes thru Gemini, and ends the week decidedly quieter at home in Cancer. And in a little nod to numerology, this week is brought to you by the Karmic number 13!

Monday starts the week with opportunity to check in on personal freedom and independence vs social causes and harmonizing in relationships. And the whole 13 thing that I referenced shows up right away because we have 4 important planetary energies congregating there: Mercury-rational/logical thinking + communication + movement; Mars-ever seeking to “do”, including self-defense and assertion, as well as aggression; Jupiter-expansion in general, as well as development, growth, and evolution of beliefs, principles, and related practices; and Saturn-integration, structure, organization, challenges, lessons…so Monday and Tuesday for sure find all the interplay between these things. The urge to expand and to think up new ways of being is strong, but so is the frustration of not getting what we want and where we want to be as quickly as we may want it! There is an awful lot of fire so there just isn’t a lot of likelihood that cooler heads will prevail. Rational/logical processes mix with emotional intelligence. Which one wins is in the minds and hearts of the beholder. I anticipate some verbal sparring, flaring tempers, maybe raw emotions, where some will know just the right things to say to elicit aggressive, possibly hurt responses. Best case, bright new ideas and solutions might be achieved that benefit some social causes. Monday and the earlier part of Tuesday just feel kind of onerous but if we can hang in there, and maybe not burn s**t to the ground, by Tuesday afternoon the mood lightens considerably.

Wednesday might bring some subtle mea culpa’s and grudging backpedals into trying to help out, to maybe hustle to make someone’s day. Kinder actions, more helpful words.

Thursday afternoon could bring some shake ups in the news and could deliver unexpected ideas or words. There could even be some funny in the air. There is a buzzy, antsy energy that will extend right into Friday. I mean, there is a chance Friday afternoon for critical words or some “oversharing” and/or gossip. I’d offer this one little PSA…most peeps don’t appreciate or might be embarrassed by being corrected so maybe this one day, if no one is at risk of getting hurt, whether physically or professionally, consider letting little missteps and wrongly used words slide. (I know…how very “How to win friends & influence people” of me! Haha!)

On Saturday, the Sun rolls over that sensitive 13° point, which carries the potential for follow up with regard to events, situations, and circumstances that were a thing earlier in the week but other than that we just kinda coast out of this one. I can certainly relate to the frustration of things not happening as quickly as we may like but clean up on my island and in my bunker continue. Hey, good morning and welcome to your weekly astro weather for August 24-30 2026, almost time to kick the dog days of summer in the backside and move on to fall…but we gotta get thru another eclipse first! Sol is now in Virgo, Luna does Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces-where she will get her light dimmed, and Aries, while Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune + Saturn in Aries keep regressing. Here we go…

Monday starts the week innocently enough. Even the Moon is on a break all day. (She’s doing a lot of that this week!) Probably a good day to just “be”, no new initiations, no marked completions. Tuesday things start accelerating. There is a strong energy for some to find their true, authentic words and share them without much fear or consideration of consequences and it’s ok because they will likely also have ample support and evidence to fall back on. Even if that is not the case, thoughts and arguments are likely to be organized, logical, and rational. So get your ducks in a row and say what you gotta say! Spit ur truth, yo (haha!).

And that energy carries over into Wednesday until around dinnertime. After supper, the Moon lays low until late into Thursday evening when, around 11:15pm, the earth gets between her and the Sun’s monthly face off, casting about a 96% shadow over her surface. That’s right ya’all, we got us a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at about 5° Pisces. This companion to the solar eclipse of August 12th may bring internal pondering, reflection, and shifts. “As within, so without”! This could impact you most personally if you have natal chart placements-especially Sun, Moon, or Ascendant, at or about 2 to 6° Pisces, but could also be impactful in the same degree range for any mutable sign (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces). Again, eclipses tend to bring great beginnings, great endings, and major turning points in life. This happens at a personal level when it affects something in your natal chart, but also for the greater global collective. So watch the news for big arrivals, departures, and changes in direction in prominent people, activities, and events. I like the premise of this Virgo v. Pisces stand off because it aligns “service” with compassion and “connection”. Who might we feel compassionately compelled to help and in what critical ways? And celestially, if skies are clear this should be perfectly visible so stay up a little later and check it out! And this lunation pulls in the god of communication, rational/logical/analytical thinking, and travel…so it sure wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility for some big news to drop! If I were assigning a “star planet” this week, it would certainly be Mercury!

In the afterglow of Friday, there is continued big opportunity for weird, possibly bombshell news and announcements, maybe sudden incidents or accidents, but also for a long period of uncomfortable inertia. Like nothing is happening and “you can’t make me!” that exists all the way thru to Sunday evening when anxious dust ups could certainly return.

Greetings and salutations and welcome to your weekly astro weather for August 17-23rd 2026. It was brought to my attention last week that the notation “AI Content” appeared under the pic at the start of last week’s post so I want to reiterate that while I do use often use AI to generate the pic that accompanies my posts each week, every word you read- for good or otherwise, comes solely out of my pea brain and off my hunt n peck typing fingers, lol. You will never find AI generated interpretations in anything bearing my name, personally or professionally…that’s my Soul Freqs pledge to you! I understand the enthusiasm for AI but, and I am speaking only to astrological interpretation here, I’ve played around with it just enough to KNOW that it is often wildly inaccurate…so swim at your own risk…and fact check before accepting things as gospel! We start the week with Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune and Saturn in Aries rocking in reverse while Luna, fresh off of blocking out the Sun last week, breezes thru Libra, grinds thru Scorpio, ponders in Sagittarius, and ends the week working hard in Capricorn. I spilled at the end of last week about an influence that was potentially subject to expressing over the weekend already so we’ll start there.

In the wee dark and quiet hours of Monday morning, we get the perfection of an energy that can produce spontaneous, if not impulsive, harsh and decisive actions driven by emotions and feelings, often without clear thinking and/or possibly accurate information. This is not a great combination for people who are emotionally, mentally, or maybe spiritually compromised. From a higher perspective, it could be a lovely opportunity for spontaneous or planned acts of nurturing and protective or provisional kindness. But I am truly concerned for the former… Mid-morning could exacerbate whichever direction the prevailing breezes have been blowing, emboldening some with courage and confidence, for better or worse. And evening should only serve to dig further in to whatever energy one may have been riding earlier in the day.

Tuesday is just another big feelings kind of day. I could see self-righteous blow ups…or help becoming available - assuming one can lay down their pride shield for a hot minute. (Basically my energy over the past 3 weeks! Lol) Maybe use personal power to help a bro out, and maybe facing challenges with strength and resilience. Emotions are running high and a passion to courageously defend the Self or others is absolutely the flavor of the day, so dig in, go with your “gut”, and fiercely “be”. This whole vibe extends into Wednesday.

Thursday, especially in the morning, it might be quite easy to get one’s proverbial dander up…lots of excess energy without a clear outlet, but it is also a day ripe for surprising ideas and information exchanges that might progress knowledge and understanding, interests and activities in a positive, even inspired direction.

“Work it out” Friday looks to bring a unique vibe for seeking balance and compromise in relationships as well as social and possibly financial endeavors. Win over a loved one with loyalty. Double down on commitment…but also work on understanding that relationship doesn’t mean surrendering autonomy and independence. It’s a good day to establish healthy and appropriate boundaries within close personal relationships…and to become painfully aware of where they’re lacking.

Saturday could bring a resurgence of eclipse energy as the Sun blazes over the South Lunar Node just before leaving his Leo home for the more calculating, precision and service oriented vibe of Virgo. Happy Virgo season! Opportunities for seemingly fated releases and dumps are on the menu, possibly dialing in on stubborn pride and self-centeredness. The past few day’s big feels might evaporate as quickly as they showed up, with cooler, more analytical heads prevailing. Focusing on solutions may replace dialing in on problems, at least for a bit.

Some are likely to be aware of hurts on Sunday but, building on the day prior, there is a stronger energy for focusing efforts on fixes and healing than the root issues themselves. Look, it’s a big feelings week but there are opportunities to use that for moving forward.

Hey, howdy, and welcome to your weekly astro weather for August 10-16 2026. Let me just say, before diving in, that I am incredibly humbled and appreciative of the overwhelming response I received from last week’s big leap in opening a “tip jar”. The generosity and kind words of support and encouragement left me pretty speechless. So seriously…from the bottom of my fragile (at the moment) little soul freq heart…thank you! It’s been almost 2 weeks already. Clean up crews and public utilities have been working tirelessly to clear streets and get power back online. Life is trying to return to normal here, but like the landscape of the rest of the world, it’s going to be a new normal. To that end, we start a brand new eclipse season this week and it is poised to be a doozy! Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune and Saturn in Aries are rolling in reverse, and the Moon starts the week at home in Cancer, blazes thru Leo where she intends to dim the Sun’s light before getting analytical in Virgo, then ends week trying to temper some things in Libra. It’s a big week…let’s ride!

Right out of the gate on Monday, the goddess of discernment, love, relationship, resources, and values brings some big opportunities to get creative, see things from a different perspective, and maybe bust some moves toward a more true authenticity and realization around what real power looks and feels like. Or maybe should or could. Change your thinking, change your world/life! Some seemingly fated/predestined events and opportunities could arrive as if on cue…and it is a huge week for the hand of fate to intervene to be sure! In the overnight hours and…

Dark and early Tuesday, by the time most of our feet even hit the floor, Mars-the god of action and war cannonballs into Cancer after 6 weeks of think, think, thinking his way thru Gemini. Oh friends, it is time to start acting from gut-knowing, emotions and feels. So for some, this will be a lovely move toward acting from a place of compassion and empathy, aiming to execute protective and nurturing support for others. At the opposite end of the spectrum, it is also likely to be a time of big feelings driving all kinds of self centered hissy fits and theatrical behavior. I am pretty concerned about Tuesday for peeps in a fragile emotional place because Mars’ time in Cancer can really internalize hard things, leading to actions around self-harm…so let’s keep tabs on each other for the next 6 weeks, more so than usual, hey? Piled on to this, there is a lot of potential for impulsive moves based in obsessive thinking which intensifies as the day wears on. It could be quite critical to find some mental diversions and creative outlets for active minds. Not all impulsive moves are bad…lean into some fun, playful banter. Other impulses notwithstanding, it could be a really good night for imagination, catching a vision, and creating!

And Wednesday, ohhhh boy, just past noon Luna steps in front of Sol at 20° of Leo, creating a total New Moon Solar Eclipse…in the Sun’s home, the sign of the natural born leader. Eclipses tend to catalyze great endings, beginnings, and major turning points and this particular axis has correlated historically with the fall from grace of big peeps as well as the meteoric rise from obscurity of new public figures and leaders. Folks with particularly Sun, Moon, Rising, or maybe chart ruler at or near 20° of especially fixed signs (Ta**us, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) may be the ground zero recipients of opportunities or events to step it up, show what they’re made of. Take on greater responsibility, move into some new identity, exert confidence and courage in self-expression, to be more truly authentic. Watch the news in the coming weeks for the passing of prominent figures. (The actor Matthew Perry was born on the day of an eclipse…and subsequently passed on another…these are things that happen.) Eclipse energy persists strongly until the next set of lunations (new and full moons) as well as extending til the next eclipse season 6 months down the road. But boy, this sure opens the door to some B I G shifts in global leadership and power. Eclipses always come in pairs, so the Moon will get her light dimmed in a couple of weeks. Hang on tight!

And speaking of Luna, around midday on Thursday she dips out for a while, starting a longggg (for her) break, devoid of proper check ins with any of the visible wanderers. The ancients saw this as a poor time for trying to initiate new endeavors or get anything meaningful done, so maybe take a breather thru Saturday. Focus on and clean up messes already in progress.

Later Friday and Saturday there is an opportunity for some to be seen and heard, making bold speeches and/or statements. This is one of those big energies for potential history making speeches. Stand up for yourself, boldly, courageously, confidently! And watch for some to just be loud in their bluster! Maybe use your words to defend the defenseless, just ‘cuz somebody needs to! There is lots of opportunity for “social work” this weekend…mediating, negotiating, peace-making and -keeping…but also for judging. Let’s endeavor to share helpful words and keep our unhelpful opinions to ourselves and get out of this week more positively.

And I only do this when it seems important, but this weekend into Monday looks potentially fraught for those in a precarious emotional state. Do what you need to do for self preservation but also keep a more watchful eye on the fragile people in your life. More on this next time.

Hey all…your Soul Freq is coming at you in a somber mood this week, but neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor EF3 tornados will keep me from delivering the weekly astro weather. My beloved Soul Freqs Bunker absorbed a direct hit from Monday’s EF3 rated tornado and if you compare last week’s very timely personal photo to this week’s, both snapped from the same location in my backyard, you’ll see the devastation to my beautiful Doty Island, my home for the past 17 years. We knew the astrology was last Monday was set to be bananas and for us here on Doty Island, the city of Menasha, and Fox Crossing, it was especially so. I never imagined my island home would feature looters and occupation by the Army National Guard as well as the near total devastation that parts are, but here we are. Disconcerting is an understatement. There have also been tireless efforts on the parts of an army of volunteers so a beautiful community spirit has been present too. Along that line, huge heartfelt thanks to all my Soul Freqs at large who’d reached out over the past week to make sure I and my Bunker were ok. Cell service has been spotty at best and with power still out, internet non-existent…so if I was not timely in, or missed some responses, that would be why. Sorry for the big intro…getting down to astro business, it’s a bit quieter week than we’ve experienced of late. Time to allow some of the literal and metaphoric dust to settle and prepare for our first eclipse of the season burning in next week. Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune and Saturn in Aries are blowing backward and Luna rips thru Aries, Ta**us, Gemini, and Cancer as she preps for her big following week.

On Monday, the morning starts out feisty and resilient before the afternoon dumps in with a big ‘ol reality check. And Chiron joins the ranks of the retrogrades so peeps with personal placements around 00-01° of especially fixed signs (Ta**us, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) may be acutely aware of their “wounds” and owies. New insights, perspectives, and opportunities for healing may be the silver lining. Chiron will be retrograde into early 2027.

Tuesday morning thru midday features a chatty, possibly scattered energy, with early afternoon bringing opportunity for peeps to try to debate and possibly verbally spar! Don’t take the bait…unless you have to. Then keep your head and weaponize your words and intellect as best you can. In the later afternoon cooler heads and calmer vibes should prevail.

Boy, Wednesday looks like a stubborn day! It may be hard to convey your point to others and you may not be in a listening mood either. Evening brings kind of an antsy self-righteousness lol, something like “you will listen to every damn word I have to say” haha…doesn’t mean they will. This is super dug in resilience too though, and I know the peeps in my community could use a healthy dose of that right about now!

Thursday noon actually brings a considerable lift as Venus, the planetary energy of discernment, relationships, and resources leaves her challenging time in attention to detail, perfunctory Virgo and returns for her annual check in with her home sign of harmonious, balance loving, peace-making and -keeping Libra. Cooperation gets an uptick, as does a lean into socializing and networking and the promo of equality and fair play. Of course some will start wagging their tongues with gossip and judginess. Equal opportunity! And oh boy, I really like the back half of the day for a show of strong leadership! Hopefully someone will stand out for stepping up and guiding others with all the right attributes!

Friday is kind of the wild card day for this week as Luna, blowing thru Gemini, connects with all the outer planets. Surprises could be the real flavor of the day! Saturday just kind of happens, without anything remarkable to call its own.

Then, at midday on Sunday, Mercury finally blazes into a new energy-Leo, after too long a time in emotional and “feels” oriented Cancer. Inspiring, bold, confident words that ooze charismatic leadership is REALLY on tap for the coming couple of weeks! Or…maybe ego driven, self-serving communique’s…we shall see! Probably some of both. Time to speak your authentic truth! Sunday is actually a pretty good day for imagination, vision, and creativity too so use it to your full advantage.

Because I work-from-home in the most true sense, the inability to utilize my home has had a tremendous impact on my ability to work and generate income. I have had several lovely and generous offers to relocate my practice temporarily and moving forward I will evaluate this. But if you have been to my Bunker, particularly for sound experiences, it isn’t something I can reasonably do just anywhere (owing to the need for quiet or for the sound to not interrupt other businesses).
