Behold. 8.73 glorious pounds of peanut brittle. 🥜😂

And because I apparently don’t own a banana, please enjoy this egg for scale. 🥚

Also, I feel like 8.73 pounds is an oddly specific amount of brittle.

Not 8 pounds.
Not 9 pounds.

It was probably 9 lbs prior to “quality control” but we’ll never know for sure. 😂

Breaking news… 🗞️

I’ve solved a problem none of us knew we had.

You know how a 🥄is perfectly acceptable for consuming marshmallow fluff… but sometimes you want to pretend you’re showing a little restraint?

Enter… Candied Pretzels.

Sweet.
Salty.
Crunchy.
Structurally engineered to transport an irresponsible amount of marshmallow fluff from jar to mouth.

This is what happens when I’m left alone in the kitchen with no adult supervision.

The Market at Long Green got a restock this morning including that Cookies and Cream Fluff! I spied the signs of fall and I’m here for all of it!

How do you eat Cookies & Cream Marshmallow Fluff?

Let me count the ways…

🧸Teddy Grahams
🥨 Pretzels (trust me… dip the pretzels.)
Graham crackers
🍓Fresh fruit
🦁 Animal crackers
🍦 Nilla Wafers
🍪Between two cookies
☕ A dollop melting into hot coffee or tea
🥄 Straight off the spoon (no judgment.)

And my personal favorite…

🥔 A thick, ruffled potato chip.

Sweet. Salty. Crunchy. Creamy. It’s the snack equivalent of finding $20 in your winter coat.

Now I’m wondering…

Growth isn't always about moving fast. Sometimes it's about taking the next right step.

When you're a small business, all you can hope for is to make a difference, continue growing, and never lose the love for the craft that started it all. I've intentionally been cautious about expanding because I wanted to be sure I could keep up with demand without sacrificing the quality that means so much to me.

Baby steps, right?

Today, I'm celebrating one of those steps.

You can now find my old-fashioned hard candy at Farmers Daughter MD, LLC in Kingsville, with my signature marshmallows arriving very soon. ❤️

To everyone who has shared a post, told a friend, or chosen my little candy kitchen over countless other options—thank you. Every purchase, every kind word, and every bit of encouragement has helped make moments like this possible.

Here's to sweet beginnings, baby steps, and the next chapter. 🍯🧁

🍂🍁 FALL IS COMING... and the candy kettle is about to ramp up! 🍁🍂
The windows will be open.
The leaves will start showing off.
Someone (probably me) will insist it's sweater weather when it's still 82°. 🤷‍♀️

That means it's time to start planning this year's fall lineup at Apron String Confections! I have my favorites... but I want to know YOUR favorites.
