I spent the afternoon at Five Blossoms Shoppe ppe with Settle’s Petals in downtown York, SC.

Yes, the shop is beautiful, but what makes it special is that they’re not just florists. They’re flower farmers, growing blooms on their own farm in Clover and I got to design a late-summer bouquet with flowers harvested right from their fields.

We worked with dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, scabiosa, eucalyptus, celosia, and this gorgeous burgundy hanging amaranthus that completely inspired my arrangement.

The coolest part? Everyone started with the same flowers, but every bouquet turned out completely different.

One of the greatest privileges of being a florist is walking alongside families through every season of life. From weddings to farewells, flowers become a way to say what words sometimes can’t. This arrangement was created in loving memory of my May bride’s grandmother, and it was truly an honor to make. 🌿🤍
