Flower farming, and trying to grow really anything, in July really makes me question my sanity! The bugs, wind, and multiple 100 degree days in a row is not for the faint of heart. But walking through the flower rows and finding some of my summer favorites starting to bloom really makes it so worth it!

JUNE in the garden and flower fields!

This growing season has already been so sweet and the Lord has been so good in how he has provided and cared for us!

So a quick little June growing tour!
•The chaotic yarrow patch! I truly love how wild and beautiful she is!
•So much broccoli and cabbage
•Statice is starting to roll in!
•A bed just full of lettuce
•Feverfew! I think it’s safe to say, she has quickly become a new flower favorite
•My first attempt at brussel sprouts
•One of the wild garden corners with celery, tomatoes, and marigolds!

It won’t be long before the flower fields are full of blooms and the farmstand will be stocked!

The chaos of planting season has finally slowed down and we have some extra garden produce available!

Scapes make the best pesto or can be used in place of chopped garlic

•Mixed Radish bundles-$4

•Fresh Eggs-$5 a dozen

Happy Saturday friends! The 2nd Annual Seed Sale is only 1 week away and there will be some really exciting new additions to the sale!

• Dahlia Tubers!! Variety bags of dahlia tubers will be available to add to your own cut flower garden!

•Petunia Pots! These cutie pots will give you blooms all summer long and would make an amazing Mother’s Day gift!

•Farmstand bouquet gift cards! These gift cards will be usable during the summer for 1 Farmstand bouquet! A perfect addition to a Mother’s Day gift!

A wide variety of veggie and flower seedling packs will be available! Each of these seedlings have been hand started and cared for by me. It’s been a labor of love starting and caring for these seedlings, but so worth it to be able to provide quality, local goods!

We can’t wait to see you Friday and Saturday ! You’ll be able to grab your favorite local coffee and shop the seedling sale! Can’t wait to see you!

Marigold packs will be available May 4 at University Farm, Fleet, and Auto or May 8 & 9 at the Seedling Sale at Willow Coffee and Bake Shop, LLC!
