Get ready to get into the holiday spirit with a post-Thanksgiving, pre-Christmas wreath-making workshop on the farm!

On November 28th – Small Business Saturday, FYI! – we’ll gather at the farm from 10am to noon to guide you, step-by-step, through the process of making your own wreath, using fresh evergreens and seasonal accents.

We’ll have coffee and snacks on hand while we create a lush, beautiful, handcrafted wreath that’s going to be perfect for welcoming in the holiday season.

No experience necessary! Just bring your holiday spirit (and bonus points if you come in your favorite ugly Christmas sweater!). Tickets ($95) are available now via the link in bio or at rubymoonfloral.com

Do you dig dahlias? Do you want to learn to dig – and store – them over the winter, for abundant, beautiful blooms, year after year?!

Join us at the farm on Saturday, November 6th, from 10am to noon, for our cute ’n’ cozy dahlia digging party. We’ll start with c***r and donuts and a hands-on dividing workshop before heading out to the field to get our hands dirty and dig up some tuber clumps!

You’ll head home with five divided tubers (a $50-plus value), storage tote, vermiculite (essential for making sure your tubers don’t rot while they hibernate!), and all of the know-how you’ll need to successfully overwinter your favorite dahlias.

Grab your tickets ($65 each) now at the link in bio, and under the “events” tab at rubymoonfloral.com

I’m still recovering – both spiritually and physically – from an incredible trip to Italy I helped Laura of Chef Laura Wilson to host this past week.

Laura curates incredible culinary travel experiences that bring people together around food, culture and the most beautiful places, and this trip was no different! We packed so much in, from truffle hunting in Tuscany to taking a fabulous floral design class with Puscina Flowers, eating a private dinner created by Chef Matteo and Chef Laura at Officine Gullo, and taking a private tour of an amazing cathedral where Botticelli and Vespucci are buried.

We stopped in Verona to see the balcony – yes, Juliet’s balcony – and then made our way to Venice, where we rode gondolas through the canals and toured the Doge’s Palace.

Of course, I was in my element the whole time, taking in all the flowers, gardens, architecture, design, and history along the way.

We’re already working on our next adventure – to England and Scotland next year – so if you’d like to come along with us, please head to http://fearlesscookculinary.com for details and to get your name on the list!

We’ve got some beautiful dahlias and cosmos blooming this week, which we’re excited to make into beautiful bunches for you! You’ll find these at the farmstand this Friday and Saturday, 9am-7pm (cash or Venmo) and at Home Collective.

If you’d like a bunch this week, please DM us or email mailto:[email protected] to be sure we make one with your name on it!

And if you’re stopping by the farmstand, why not pick up some bulbs? It is THE perfect weather for fall planting and we’ll have a great selection of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths in stock. PLUS! Mums, pumpkins and sunflower bunches, too!

Did we see you at Fall at the Farm this year?!

This is one of our biggest annual get-togethers on the farm and we’re always so excited to host it, but also a little nervous (especially about the parking 🤣 ), and we couldn’t be happier with how this year’s Fall at the Farm went down!

In an otherwise pretty dull and damp week, the weather gods truly smiled on us and gave us THE most beautiful Fall evening; we sold out on the day (!!!!); and we got to meet so many of our wonderful customers and friends, old and new!

We also had the most incredible vendors on the evening, from delicious pizza by Coterie Pizza, tunes by Ross Kinsey, beverages from The Coffee Club | a coffee shop for real life and Ambrosia Orchard, snacks and bites from Party on the Patio and Fried&Frozen, and local vendors from Bigelow Build & Design to Lee Morgan Designs, Guilty Pleasure Scent Company, Ivy Woods Boutique, and, of course, Rubble from was on hand to provide his own form of entertainment!

We’d love to see any and all photographs you took at the farm – so if you do share them on Instagram please tag us! And if you missed it, we’ll be back bigger and better next year (and before then, there’s our Spring Plant Sale in the New Year… so get on our mailing list – link in bio – before then to make sure you’re in the know!).

This celebration event – for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer – is always a special one to work on, and this year’s was no different. Look at how cute the setup was, with incredible gifts from amazing sponsors (including, ahem, Ruby Moon!).

It was held at Fort Wayne Country Club, always a special venue to bedazzle with blooms, and we really got to lean into the pink theme, creating gorgeous arrangements bursting with roses, dahlias and hydrangeas in shades of pink, peach, blush and red.
