Happy Semiquincentennial! 🇺🇸 If you need a quick, crowd-pleasing snack for the tailgate or driveway tonight, these Firecracker Ranch Crackers are quick and easy made with items you probably already have on hand.

Firecracker Ranch Crackers
🛒 What you need:
🧂 Saltine crackers
🫒 Canola oil
🧄 Ranch dressing mix
🌶️ Cayenne + smoked paprika + onion powder
🔥 Red pepper flakes (don't skip — the oil mellows the heat!)

Make it with: oversized 2-gallon bag, gentle tip-and-tilt (not a shake), let it rest, then bake or don't — both ways are a win.

Level it up: cream cheese + jalapeño jelly for dipping. Trust us.

A couple years ago, I put up a Pride flag in Christmas lights using the SPT-1 wire. It was quite a popular display in my neighborhood, so I decided to make it permanent the next year. To that end, I wanted to have back up lights and wires on hand. I decided on the SPT-2 wire as backup, and I'm glad I did. After experiencing vandalism - my lights were torn down in the middle of the night breaking all the SPT-1 wires - I was able to immediately put up new lights and I have great confidence in the stronger SPT-2 wire to hopefully hold out against weather and perhaps even hateful vandals. Thank you for making my display a success and helping me express love, support, and Pride!
