I'm pretty excited to announce that my website has been launched and although I still have about 25ish pieces to still add to my KF Clayworks page, they'll all be added and all items on the website will be available for purchase beginning this Friday at 7pm EST.

Hannah has a few things listed in her (she only has IG) and we'll be adding a November launch date for some Winter/Christmas items.

I do plan to reopen The Little Lamb to some capacity in 2025, and any events will be listed there, but for now I'll be adding some of my NJ shop inventory, paint your own pottery kits and candles to that shop for my November launch.

So pretty much, it'll be 3 different storefronts all in one spot, 4 once Bella thinks of her logo and business name and builds up her inventory of knit/crocheted items! I'm also offering $10 flat rate shipping

I'm bringing it back to the roots of where everything began and the website is www.plottwistacres.com from when I first started with Plot Twist Acres, LLC during covid, it only seemed appropriate.

Thanks again for all of your support for not just me but my kids, as well!

Three years ago today, this is where it all started. Working fulltime, and being 6 months pregnant with my youngest of 3, with the support of my amazing wife, I opened an honor system produce stand out of our converted gazebo as a courtesy to our local community in the middle of the pandemic. Over the past three years, there's been a lot of changes (for many reasons) including removing both the produce and the honor system, but I've been slowly transitioning my small business into something that better represents me and what I love....art and animals and sharing that with our community.

Thank you to my loyal customers and followers who've been rooting me on since the very beginning, and just as big of a thank you to my new supporters! I look forward to another repost 3 years from now to see where I am, with full intentions of being at a new address and more land by then, and with the hopes that Hannah and Bella can be a more active part in helping my business continue to grow! 🤩 - be sure to follow me at The Little Lamb

I can't believe today is already May 1. I was supposed to do my drawing today but I've been so busy, I just ran outside to get some updated pictures of Sue's roan girls. I'll do the drawing Friday at 6pm to give more people time to PM or comment if they want to be added to the drawing for a chance to buy one of Sue's girls since there's so much interest. Probably because Sue is the herd favorite amongst everyone that comes to the shop, and because this is my last year breeding (and bonus that these are blue eyed roans, which I never see).

CDT vaccinated, F2 registerable Mini Nubians, one is disbudded and one is polled. The darker one has moon spots like Sue that should go from dark brown to white in those spots within the next few months. Ready to go 6/19.

$500/ea (you can put your name in for one or for both. The first name picked will have the option to buy both girls, or one girl and then add on their brother as a wether companion for another $200).
After they choose, I'll draw a second name (unless they opted to buy both in which case only 1 name will be drawn).

I'll try to get better pictures this week, all the babies are little firecrackers today with the sun shining.

For those who love Sue, her (almost 2 year old) son is seeking a new herd as either a buck or he can be banded. He is is a registerable F2 mini nubian who is solid black and crystal blue eyes. He would throw beautiful babies, or would just make a great addition to your farm.
Message me or Megan McFarlane (in the comments) for more information.
If you don't already have any goats, I'd be willing to part with Benny and have him banded so this guy has a buddy.

365 days. One whole year, since I've wrapped my arms around your fluff. It feels like just as much of a lifetime ago as it feels like only yesterday. I miss you just as much today as I did a year ago. Heaven is lucky to have to sweetest little lamb. Until the day I see you again, I'll continue to love and miss you, my sheep. 🌈

As some of you may recall, last month I inquired about adopting a senior dog from a local shelter, and it didn't work out. It's been 6 months since I lost Lucy, my 14 year old cattle dog x, and although I wasn't actively looking for another dog, I had just recently been entertaining the idea if I were to stumble across the right one. Sometimes I question why things go the way they do, whether be unfair or cruel, down the line I usually see why life pulled things in one direction, only to guide me where I'm supposed to end up. Being able to remind myself of that when times are unfair, have helped me yet through a lot.

Last week, I saw this dog on a group for NJ animals needing placement. I inquired. Someone was trying to help this owners adult daughter find this dog a home. After spending the first 12 years of his life in a crate, sheanayed to convince her father to give her the dog so that she could quietly and legally find a fit home for him. I'm not going to badmouth the original owner because it changes nothing, but I am so thankful that the daughter remained persistent in getting this dog out of that home. Lucky was the name he was given, which is cruel joke. How can something be lucky to have had a life like that.

Today starts a new chapter, not for Lucky but for me. I cried the moment I saw him, and felt a rush of feelings, and grieving over Lucy and Little Lamb, like this dog was meant for me. Little Lambs coloring and Lucys eyes, hes my missign piece. I can't wait to get him home and with the rest of the family. He's the happiest little thing, despite all that he's been through. I have thoughtfully renamed him Red, after Morgan Freemans character in Shawshank Redemption. Wrongly imprisoned for years for something he didn't do, but having a happy ending. Here's to your happy ending, Red. I already love you. ❤️

I'm a day late but I hope everyone's kids have a great school year. 💕
