Global Thrift & More Global sorts and processes gently used items. We price things affordably to encourage thrift buying.

Global keeps clothing and household items out of landfills to help our planet and empower low-moderate income families. Our goal is to provide communities with good quality items at affordable prices. We hope to encourage re-using in order to keep items out of landfills. Even though we are a for profit business, we wholeheartedly believe in giving back to our community at the local level, as well as internationally. We give textiles a second life and keep them out of landfills, through textile recycling, to help our planet and empower low income families. We support many not for profit organizations, including the following: SPCA, Cornell Farmworkers Program, Mayor Potencial, No Mas Lagrimas, Mutual Aid Tompkins, St John’s Community Homeless Shelter, Marathon Public Library, Appleby Elementary School Closet, CapCo, Catholic Charities

What makes us unique?

* Items (occasionally clothing and shoes) are lightly cleaned.

* We try to up-cycle or refinish items, so they don't end up in landfills.

* Items are priced to make them more affordable for low-moderate income individuals and families.

* Many of our items are donated to local community organizations AFTER processing (sorted, organized and lightly cleaned).
