🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Mari Jo Krebs! 🌟
It’s time for our monthly spotlight, and today we’re celebrating the wonderful Mari Jo Krebs! Her warmth and enthusiasm bring so much joy to our team and the neighbors we serve.

The Journey to FYCO
Mari Jo’s journey with us started during a Tuesday knitting session at the Steuben County Library when Deb Blaze invited her to check out FYCO. She jumped right in and now serves as a Shopper and helps out with the Farm Wagon!

For Mari Jo, the heart of volunteering is all about connection:

Why She Loves It
Mari Jo loves building relationships—not just with fellow volunteers, but with the people shopping at our food pantry. She enjoys giving everyone a chance to share what’s happening in their lives, adding that it’s always fun when the men share how they prepare the food items they take home!

Surprise Fact: Mari Jo was in 4-H for many years! Her main project was Chester White Hogs, and she even won Grand Champion Barrow! 🏆🐷

Lake George Residents, you've outdone yourselves! 💪 The 3rd Annual Bags of Hope event has brought in a staggering 6025 pounds of food, exceeding all expectations! This is a testament to the power of community coming together to uplift those in need. Thank you for bringing hope to struggling families in our region!
