A California freshman shared an apartment with a roommate who never spoke, never ate, and never turned around from her desk. Weeks passed before she worked up the courage to touch her shoulder.

walls. What made this case different is who backed them up — a DCS case
manager and a registered nurse both put on record that they watched a
nine-year-old boy walk backwards up a wall.
