More on Cocoa Puffs! YES!! I'm getting excited to finish him! I'm more relaxed tonight since I've been able to work on him tonight. I've been trying to get the time to get in my room for awhile. And today, I was finally able to!

Italian Sweet Pepper Pickles Picture an Italian antipasto board overflowing with prosciutto, salami, salty olives, fresh mozzarella, and rustic artisanal breads with olive oil. For me it just does not get much better than that, unless you add a delicious Italian Sweet Pepper Pickle to the mix. Just....

I've gotten to work a little on Cocoa Puffs today. My room is incredibly hot and my A/C keeps shutting off. Oh well, I guess the paint will dry faster? Maybe? 😆

Some pictures of the 1911 Loof Carousel in Santa Cruz, CA. I counted six closed mouth horses! That's an amazing sight! I'm always in awe of this machine.

Finally got to go to Santa Cruz and ride the 115 year old Loof Carousel. The reverence I felt not only at the sight of the machine, but actually riding it twice. I took pictures of a rarity, well six of them actually. Closed mouth carousel horses! Loof and Carmel were among the few to portray the horses like this. One, maybe two were ever placed on a machine. The Santa Cruz Loof Carousel, made in 1911, has SIX! It always takes my breath away and makes me feel like there's a reason to go on living. There's been too much sadness and stress lately. I feel a bit renewed now. My heart much lighter than it has been since I lost my youngest son 3 years ago, and my oldest son in February. It's been hard to deal with, but I'm still here. Today was a heart and mind reset.
